Misión Cumpleaños: 6 horas de búsqueda para el regalo perfecto. [Esp/Eng]

Hola, hola.

Saliéndome nuevamente de todos esto videojuegos de los que siempre hablo, tuve casi toda la semana sin jugarlos, porque solo pensaba en que podía regalarle a mi hermanita en su cumpleaños, el cual es hoy.

Así que comencé a concentrarme más en ello, porque, aunque aquí en la isla donde vivo sí se pueden conseguir cositas lindas, a veces suelen sobrepasar el precio que uno tiene en mente, y yo la verdad que soy una persona que siente que dar solo una cosita es poco, como que no se expresa que realmente quiero a esa persona.

Taking a break from all those video games I’m always talking about, I didn’t play them for almost the entire week because I was just thinking about what to get my little sister for her birthday, which is today.

So I started focusing more on that, because, even though you can find cute little things here on the island where I live, they often end up costing more than what I had in mind, and honestly, I’m the kind of person who feels like giving just one little thing isn’t enough—like it doesn’t really show how much I love that person.

Entonces, ayer empecé mi búsqueda por un centro comercial que estaba segura que podría tener algo de las películas y series que le gustan a ella, como Harry Potter, Spiderman o incluso algo de la Formula 1.

Y efectivamente, de Harry Potter había bastantes cositas, pero, bueno, que les puedo decir, jaskajsd, en una tienda, solo un bolígrafo valía unos 18$. Y aunque estaba muy increíble su diseño porque era una barita, no sentía que fuera tan increíble, porque una vez que se le gastara la tinta, ya no podría ser usado, así que no me fui por esa opción.

So yesterday I started looking for a mall where I was sure I could find some of the movies and TV shows she likes, like Harry Potter, Spider-Man, or even something related to Formula 1.

And sure enough, there were quite a few Harry Potter items, but, well, what can I say—in one store, a single pen cost about $18. And even though the design was really cool because it was shaped like a wand, I didn't think it was that great, because once the ink ran out, it wouldn't be usable anymore, so I decided against it.

Luego, entré a una tienda donde encontré la camisa perfecta para ella, muy al estilo de formula 1 y una camisa para un amiguito de ella que justo cumple un día después jasksad. De esa tienda me fui extremadamente feliz con esas dos adquisiciones.

Ya solo me quedaba seguir buscando algo más de las cositas que le gustaran. Entré a la tienda donde me compré mi teléfono recientemente porque en la vitrina pude ver una libretita en de Harry Potter, y también me fui bastante contenta. Jaksakda, para este punto ya tenía al menos 2 regalitos. Luego terminé comprando un llavero de una varita, que, aunque sobrepaso mi precio estimado, me alegré bastante, porque ya tenia 3 regalitos.

Then I went into a store where I found the perfect shirt for her—it had a real Formula 1 vibe—and a shirt for one of her little friends who happens to have a birthday the very next day. I left that store feeling absolutely thrilled with those two purchases.

All that was left was to keep looking for a few more little things she’d like. I went into the store where I’d recently bought my phone because I’d spotted a little Harry Potter notebook in the window, and I left feeling pretty happy. Jaksakda, by this point I already had at least two little gifts. Then I ended up buying a wand keychain, which, even though it was over my budget, made me really happy because now I had three little gifts.

Al finalizar, pasé por otra tienda tratando de encontrar algo de color morado, que es lo que más le gusta, y tuve la suerte de justo encontrar dos cositas que ella realmente necesitaba, asi que, mis 6hrs dentro de ese centro comercial valieron la pena jskas.

When I was done, I stopped by another store to see if I could find something purple—her favorite color—and I was lucky enough to find two little things she really needed, so my six hours in that mall were totally worth it.
