¿Compras planificadas o paseo con la familia? [Esp/Eng]

Hace unos días tuve la oportunidad de salir de mi casita a hacer las compras del hogar con mi hermanita y mis padres. Pero esas compras tardaron unas cuantas horas, porque una vez terminamos de comprar lo que necesitábamos y lo que no jasjaja. Aprovechamos a pasar por el bodegón del supermercado y nos sentamos para comer nuestro almuerzo.

A few days ago, I had the chance to leave my little house to go grocery shopping with my little sister and my parents. But that shopping trip took a few hours, because once we finished buying what we needed and what we didn’t, haha. We took the opportunity to stop by the supermarket’s snack bar and
sat down to eat our lunch.

Luego de ahí, pasamos a un centro comercial porque mi papá quería saber precios de laptops y computadoras de mesas, porque pronto se gradúa mi hermanita de secundaria, y para la universidad necesita un dispositivo que le permita hacer sus trabajos. Pero justo luego de consultar precios y características, aprovechamos a dar un pequeño recorrido por el centro comercial.

After that, we went to a shopping mall because my dad wanted to check prices on laptops and desktop computers, since my little sister is graduating from high school soon, and for college she needs a device that will let her do her assignments. But right after checking prices and specs, we took the chance to take a little tour of the mall.

Además, mi mamá tenia un rato sin ir a este centro comercial, por lo que tardamos hasta más de lo que pensábamos jajaja. Pasamos por tiendas de ropas que ella no sabia que había remodelado, por emprendimientos de algunas personas, por una cafetería estilo librería. Y por último, el cine que abrieron recientemente.

Plus, it had been a while since my mom had been to this mall, so we ended up staying longer than we thought we would, hahaha. We walked past clothing stores she didn’t know had been remodeled, some small businesses, and a bookstore-style café. And finally, the movie theater that just opened.

Y aquí fue hasta donde nos quedamos un rato sentados, porque hasta los sillones estaban extremadamente cómodos, y visualmente todo se veía increíblemente espectacular. Hasta había paredes con posters de películas antiguas donde cada uno de nosotros ubico sus películas favoritas y se nos hice muy lindo.

And that’s where we ended up sitting for a while, because even the armchairs were incredibly comfortable, and everything looked absolutely spectacular. There were even walls covered with posters of old movies, and each of us spotted our favorite films there it was really nice.

Después de eso, sí logramos regresar a casa, un poco tarde, pero lo hicimos, y claramente me tocó llegar a simplemente ponerme a estudiar, porque la universidad nada que me suelta jsjaja. Pero fue un lindo día que me hizo pasar esas semanas de estudios con la mente un poco más relajada.

After that, we did manage to get home a little late, but we made it, and obviously I had to just sit down and study, because college just won’t let me off the hook, haha. But it was a nice day that helped me get through those weeks of studying with a slightly more relaxed mindset.
