Domingo, un entrenamiento diferente, ya que nos toco hacer el entrenamiento largo de la semana un Domingo en la tarde, si que se nota que estamos en la temporada navideña, ya que los compromisos de compartires han tomado parte de estos dias afectando el horario de los entrenamientos, bueno pero gracias a Dios pudimos cumplir mi esposo y yo con el entrenamiento del este dia. Como el dia anterior nos acostamos muy tarde, el dian ante del anterios tambien no pudimos hacer los largos ni el sabado en la mañana, menos en la tarde y mucho menos el domingo en la mañana, pues nos toco el domingo en la tarde gracias a Dios descansamos para lograr hacer el largo. Para este entrenamiento concretamos hacerlo con otros runners, y asi como sabiamos que nos iba a caer la noche en la ruta acompañarnos. Para esta ruta no planteamos un kilometraje, solo le dimos mas o menos hasta lo que cada quien pudiera aguantar, algunos hicieron un poco mas, eso si digimos cual mas o menos seria el trayecto, cada quien veria si iba un poco mas lejos, o se devolvia antes. Una ruta muy buena la seleccionada con un poco de desnivel de ida y vuelta, pero ya a la vuelta a la mitad del camino nos agarro la noche asi que alli si que nos fuimos varios junticos, por grupo, estaba todo muy oscuro bien peligroso, y sobre todo porque hay muchos baches en la via.

Gracias a Dios llegamos al final de la ruta, ya mas iluminada, alli aprete un poco en los ultimos kilometros a ver como me sentia, gracias a Dios bien con potencia en las piernas. Para esta ruta a pesar de que estaba bien fresca me lleve mi hidratacion, y mi bocadillo de guayaba. Al final vi strava y me marco 15.53Km . Bueno seguimos entrenando rumbo al maraton CAF 2026, cada vez mas cerca.

Sunday, a different kind of training session, as we had to do the long training session of the week on Sunday afternoon. You can really tell that we are in the Christmas season, as social commitments have taken up part of these days, affecting the training schedule. But thank God my husband and I were able to complete the training session on this day. Like the day before, we went to bed very late, and the day before that we couldn't do the long runs on Saturday morning, let alone in the afternoon, and much less on Sunday morning. Thank God we were able to rest on Sunday afternoon to get the long run in. For this training session, we decided to do it with other runners, and since we knew it would be dark on the route, they accompanied us. We didn't set a mileage for this route, we just ran as far as each person could manage. Some ran a little further, but we did say what the approximate distance would be, and each person could decide whether to go a little further or turn back earlier. It was a very good route with a slight incline on the way there and back, but on the way back, halfway there, night fell, so we all stayed together in groups. It was very dark and dangerous, especially because there are many potholes on the road.

Thank God we reached the end of the route, which was better lit. I pushed myself a little on the last few kilometres to see how I felt, and thank God my legs were still strong. For this route, even though it was quite cool, I took my water and my guava sandwich with me. Al final vi strava y me marco 15.53Km. Well, we'll keep training for the 2026 CAF marathon, which is getting closer and closer.
