Greetings and blessings.!
It’s Thursday, and today is interval training day. Before starting this type of workout, it’s very important to do a good warm-up. To warm up, I went to the park near the stadium; the sunrise was beautiful, and the park was bustling with people and full of lovely flowering trees. During the warm-up, I mentally prepared myself for the torture 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I arrived at the stadium, hydrated, and started the workout. Today’s plan was 200-meter sprints. Thank God, the torture wasn’t that many meters 🤣🤣. The rest period was 60 seconds, and I did 15 repetitions. The average times for the sprints ranged from 0:49.3 seconds (the slowest) to 1:02.0 (the fastest). The average pace for the 200-meter intervals was around 4:30, which is in line with my usual times.
Halfway through the workout, I took a break longer than 60 seconds—about two minutes—to regain my strength, stabilize my heart rate a bit more, and finish all the sets. Thank God I finished all the sets; it really feels great when we complete what we planned in this type of workout. Thank God I no longer feel like I used to when doing this type of training—dizzy, with legs as heavy as lead. I’ve improved my diet, and this has been vital for feeling better during intense workouts. We’ll keep up with the running workouts.💕💕🏃🏽♀️➡️
