Al llegar la temporada navideña, nuestro animo comienza a cambiar, es increíble como nos sentimos más alegres, y comenzamos a planificar las comidas y las reuniones familiares que haremos en esta temporada, aunque estos años nos ha tocado algo diferente por la pandemia, en mi caso hemos conservado mucha de las tradiciones navideñas.

Entre las tradiciones navideñas más clásicas en mi familia, es el momento de reunirnos en familia para hacer las hallacas, este momento por lo general es en mi casa, nos reunimos mis hermanos con sus familia junto a mi madre, esposo e hija, y compartimos los gastos de los ingredientes necesarios para las hallacas, el guiso lo hace mi esposo y mi mama el día anterior, nos reunimos temprano, compramos algo para tomar y con una música de gaitas típica de esta época en Venezuela, comenzamos hacer nuestras hallacas.

Otra tradición importante de la familia, es reunirnos el día de nochebuena, y cada familia trae un detallito, lo colocamos en el árbol, y antes de la cena de navidad lo repartimos, así llenamos aun más de alegría ese momento, cantamos canciones de navidad frente al nacimiento, hacemos las oraciones de agradecimiento y procedemos a cenar juntos en familia.

Mi adorno de navidad especial, es un Santa Claus que me regalo mi mama, ese santa lo tenemos desde hace más de 20 años en casa, al morir mi papa, ya ella sintió que debía dármelo para que siguiera estando en una familia, este santa es el primer adorno de navidad que colocamos para dar inicio a la navidad,desde hace ya 20 años.

Este Santa es muy lindo, y se conserva muy bien, cuando termina la navidad lo embalo muy bien para que se conserve. La cara de este Santa es muy tierna, además se prende, y simula el movimiento de escribir una carta, tiene una luz que funciona de vela, y una melodía de navidad muy linda que suena mientras escribe, a mi hija le encanta también este Santa como desde bebe sabe que al colocarlo comienza la Navidad, lo aprecia mucho, se emociona cada vez que lo sacamos, porque ella es muy feliz en Navidad, espero poder seguir conservándolo para cuando ella tenga su familia y cedérselo como hizo mi mama conmigo.
