Para que se den una idea, yo soy team calor y me da igual dormir sin ventilador no hay problema, el conflicto está con los insectos, más que todo con los zancudos (mosquitos) locos, Dios como odio a los zancudos son la peor creación de la humanidad, estos seres cuando no tengo nada en la habitación atacan si piedad y no dejan dormir a nadie, por mucho tiempo he querido comprar algo para que los zancudos se exterminen solos, pero no he conseguido nada.

Más de uno se debe sentir identificado con mi situación jaja, la gente humilde como que aún no tenemos para un aire acondicionado dependemos de un ventilador, no es por nada, pero está más que bien para mí al menos, prefiero tener dos ventiladores en mi habitación antes que un aire acondicionado, es una opinión personal. Sin embargo, como dije al principio, mi ventilador en horas de la madrugada se trabo y lanzó un chispazo, cuando pasa esto el ventilador hace un ruido terrible, así que lo tuve que apagar de inmediato.

El mismo dejó de girar, esto pasó ayer día sábado, estuve esa madrugada viendo que se le podía hacer al ventilador, probé a quitarle las hélices y chequear el eje para saber si estaba funcionando bien, también me acerqué al motor y a las bobinas que son la cosa más delicada de los componentes de los ventiladores, los motores de ventiladores están diseñados para durar muchas horas, o incluso unos cuantos días, pero siempre es bueno darle un descanso de vez en cuando.

Posteriormente, esperé a que amaneciera, dormí un rato y cuando salió el sol desayuné y me puse a revisar el ventilador a plena luz del sol, bueno lo primero que debo hacer es desarmarlo, en este caso la coraza donde está ubicado el motor, me costó mucho sacar esta carcasa ya que el botón de los engranajes, es decir, aquel botón que funciona para que el ventilador gire cuando esté encendido, me estaba jugando una mala pasada.

El botón por alguna razón no salía de su sitio, en el ventilador de mi madre si lo hace, pero en el mío no que feo caso, al final tuve que sacar dicha base a la fuerza con la ayuda de mi madre para revisar el motor, luego de estar 10 minutos empujando con delicadeza finalmente el case salió de su sitio, casi me rompo un dedo en el proceso, pero valió la pena ya que descubrimos que hay en lo más profundo del ventilador.

Todo ese sucio que ven en las imágenes es real, así estaba mi ventilador jaja, no les mentiré, es primera vez que limpio este ventilador desde que lo compré, digamos que ya tengo un año y 6 meses con el y nunca lo había limpiado, error mío, pero bueno tocaba limpiar todo este polvo que está ahí, mi madre me dijo que era un asco, pero la neta he visto cosas peores, lo limpié gracias a un cepillo de cortar el cabello.

Luego de estar media hora limpiando todo el polvo del sistema del ventilador, finalmente se pueden apreciar los componentes, como el motor, el bobinado, el capacitor, las poleas y el eje por nombrar algunos, entonces la duda es ¿Qué esta causando el problema? Me puse a revisar el motor y las bobinas de forma detallada y se veían bien, probé a encenderlo y la corriente si mandaba señal al motor, pero el ventilador no podía mover el eje.

Entonces ya sabes cual es el problema, el eje está seco, es decir, le falta aceite, cuando vi el eje vi que estaba bastante duro y hacia chillidos bastante molestos, entonces busqué en la caja de herramientas lubricante para el eje, tenía que echarle en los puntos donde hace contacto con el motor y los engranajes, para eso, debí desarmar el sistema donde estaba el botón para colocar lubricante ahí.

Por otro lado, también coloqué lubricante en la zona donde van las hélices y lo dejé así por un rato, luego con el tema de los engranajes pues nos dimos cuenta que les faltaba grasa, entonces mi primo me presto un poco de grasa de bicicleta para colocarla en los engranajes (no sabía que existía grasa para bicicleta), después de colocar la grasa y el lubricante era hora de probarlo.

Encendí el ventilador y volvió a girar como si estuviera nuevo, menos mal, el problema todo este tiempo era el eje que ya estaba desgastado de tanto uso, en los ventiladores este problema es muy común, es por eso que es recomendable hacerle mantenimiento cada 6 meses, con un poco de lubricante puedes resolver el 70% de los problemas. Si fuera el motor o las bobinas estaría frito jaja.

Por último, lo que es el case donde va el motor, el botón de los engranajes y las hélices las lavé con agua y jabón, el caes estaba muy lleno de polvo también, necesitaba limpiarlo para que el aire pueda salir de forma fluida, las hélices en cambio son más fáciles de limpiar, con un trapo puedes quitar el polvo, pero prefiero lavarlo con agua y jabón para que se vea como nuevo.
Me puse a volverlo armar y listo quedó como nuevo el ventilador.

It was not the PC, it was not my cell phone, it was not a console, it was not the microphone, it was not even the laptop that is currently under repair, it is something that you can not imagine, although you should have seen it in the thumbnail and the title of this publication, well, my fan stopped turning in the early hours of the morning, this, although it does not seem it is very bad for me because it is one of the devices that I need the most, not so much to keep the room cool.

It stopped spinning, this happened yesterday Saturday, I was that morning seeing what could be done to the fan, I tried to remove the propellers and check the shaft to see if it was working well, I also approached the motor and the coils that are the most delicate thing of the fan components, fan motors are designed to last many hours or even a few days, but it is always good to give it a rest from time to time.

Afterward, I waited for daybreak, slept for a while and when the sun came up I had breakfast and started to check the fan in full sunlight, well the first thing to do is to disassemble it, in this case, the shell where the motor is located, I had a hard time removing this casing since the gear button, that is, the button that works to turn the fan when it is on, was playing a trick on me.

The button for some reason did not come out of its place, in my mother's fan if it does, but not in mine what an ugly case, in the end, I had to remove the base by force with the help of my mother to check the engine, after being 10 minutes pushing gently finally the case came out of place, I almost broke a finger in the process, but it was worth it because we discovered that there is in the depths of the fan.

All that dirt you see in the pictures is real, that's how my fan was haha, I will not lie, it is the first time I clean this fan since I bought it, let's say I already have a year and 6 months with it and I had never cleaned it, my mistake, but well it was time to clean all this dust that is there, my mother told me it was disgusting, but I have seen worse things, I cleaned it with a hairbrush.

After half an hour of cleaning all the dust from the fan system, finally you can see the components, such as the motor, the winding, the capacitor, the pulleys, and the shaft to name a few, then the question is what is causing the problem? I checked the motor and the coils in detail and they looked fine, I tried to turn it on and the current did send a signal to the motor, but the fan could not move the shaft.

Then you know what the problem is, the shaft is dry, that is, it lacks oil, when I saw the shaft I saw that it was quite hard and made quite annoying squeaks, then I looked in the toolbox lubricant for the shaft, I had to put it in the points where it makes contact with the motor and gears, for that, I had to disassemble the system where the button was to place lubricant there.

On the other hand, I also put lubricant in the area where the propellers go and left it that way for a while, then with the issue of the gears we realized that they lacked grease, then my cousin lent me some bicycle grease to place it in the gears (I did not know that there was bicycle grease), after placing the grease and lubricant it was time to test it.

I turned on the fan and it turned again as if it was new, thank goodness, the problem all this time was the shaft that was already worn from so much use, in the fans this problem is very common, that is why it is advisable to do maintenance every 6 months, with a little lubricant you can solve 70% of the problems. If it were the motor or the coils I would be fried haha.

Lastly, what is the case where the motor goes, the bot I washed it with soap and water, the gear canister and the propellers, the canister was very full of dust too, I needed to clean it so the air can come out smoothly, the propellers, on the other hand, are easier to clean, with a rag you can remove the dust, but I prefer to wash it with soap and water to make it look like new.

I put it back together and the fan was as good as new.
