Hello, everyone! ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป Happy Wednesday...
โ€Ž
โ€ŽToday I want to share not just one, but two lovely walks I took yesterday. ๐Ÿ˜… One in the morning, and one in the afternoon. And both were full of nature. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’š
โ€Ž
โ€ŽMorning Walk, Back Where I Grew Up
โ€Ž
โ€ŽBaby Aiden put on his slippers and asked to go outside. We were at my parents' place.

โ€ŽThis is the place where I grew up, and now that I don't live here anymore, I get to appreciate it even more. The space is so wide, and the trees make the air feel so fresh and clean. ๐ŸŒณ
โ€Ž
โ€ŽWe walked over the bamboo hanging bridge, and down below was the river.

โ€Ž
โ€ŽThe water was still clear, though it's gotten narrower and shallower over time. We used to swim here before with my cousins, who now have their own families, living in different places...
โ€Ž
โ€ŽI even spotted tilapia fish, swimming happily in the clear water. A sign that the water is still fresh and clean. ๐ŸŸ

โ€Ž
โ€ŽThe lush greenery here is still so beautiful and well-kept. ๐Ÿ’š

โ€ŽBut while we were still standing there and appreciating the nature around us, one of the elders I've known since I was little, which is named Manay Nora, came to the side of the bridge and emptied her trash can, throwing all her garbage into the river. ๐Ÿฅน It made me so sad to see that. People here still treat it like a garbage pit. Not everyone help it clean. So that's the time we walked back home, wishing people would take better care of nature. ๐Ÿ˜”

โ€ŽAfternoon Walk
โ€Ž
โ€ŽLater in the afternoon, on our way home, I took another walk along the road where we used to fetch water before.

โ€ŽThe view was so refreshing. Coz on my right side was the sunset glowing, big tall trees, and the wide green fields.

1000072633.jpg
1000072635.jpg
1000072637.jpg
โ€Ž
โ€ŽOn my left side were homes and rice fields... ๐ŸŒพ

โ€ŽThen, as I looked up, there were these beautiful cirrus clouds across the sky... So different from the usual clouds we see every day. It was such a beautiful sight.

โ€Ž
โ€ŽWhat this walk taught me? It made me notice little things I usually take for granted. Coz lately, I've realized that I find it hard to appreciate the blessings around me. Sometimes I feel sad, unsatisfied, and always looking for more. But this walk reminded me to see the bright side... To be more positive... To count my blessings every single day. Coz I realized I have everything I need. And so many blessings I received. ๐Ÿ’›
