Baby Aiden's Routine Health Care: Keeping Him Comfortable As A Mother

As part of my baby Aiden's routine health care, he had a series of vaccinations to keep him safe from preventable diseases.
He's now seven months old.

It's early in the morning when we took him to the local health clinic for his third dose of the pentavalent vaccine.

This vaccine is essential because it protects against five serious diseases: diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), hepatitis B, and Haemophilus influenzae type b.
At the clinic, the nurse gently explained to us parents how the vaccine works and reassured us that many babies receive it without any trouble.
When it was our turn, I securely held Aiden in my arms, and the nurse prepared the vaccine.
The shot was given on Aiden's tiny thigh muscle, and he squeaked a little, but I quickly comforted him.

After the vaccination, as a mother, I kept him comfortable, offering cuddles and his favorite toy.
The nurse advised me to watch for any mild side effects like a little redness or swelling at the injection site or a slight fever, which are common and temporary.
Within a day or two, Aiden returned to his cheerful self, giggling and playing.
And me as a mom, I was happy that he was protected against serious illnesses.
I felt relieved as we took this important step in safeguarding Aiden's health, and was proud of our brave little baby.
I know this will make him grow healthy and strong.
Until our next vaccinations... Buh-bye. 👋🫶
These are painful but at the same time necessary processes for the health of our children. I hope you have not been broken though, it is normal. Greetings 🤗
I am used to it now. He's my second baby, so I know how things work now. But then it's true, I still can feel the pain, especially when he cried after the shot. 😭
Good job Aiden! I remember the precious moments during my son's vaccination days with your post. These are some moments we shouldn't miss in the motherhood stage. Your son is doing great. Having them protected against any harm, including illnesses, is unmatched. Enjoy the motherhood journey! 💞
Thank you. With your comment, I feel I'm doing a great job as a mom. 🥰💕
When my daughter was a baby, I almost cried when she squeaks and cried painfully. I couldn't bear seeing her got hurt though it's for her protection. I have a soft spot for crying babies. You're stronger, Mamshie! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!! 🌸🌷
Now that I read this, I realized that I'm a strong Mom. Even though I feel the pain because of his cry, I know it's for his own good, so I dare not cry. Good thing you survived it, Mom. 😅
