Hive Reach-out Week 97 - Charity even when it feels like a hard nut

Charity as the word look so simple is a big one for me if we look into it deeper and carefully, one will know that there is more to just that word and all thanks to the weekly prompt talking about the test of charity, i will just jump into directly into the topic without going helter skelter . Defining the term itself and making people know more about the word charity itself before we now move to the test.

CHARITY is the act of voluntarily giving out to people without expecting anything in return as a favor. It actually involves giving and not just giving but in love and not doing it for appraisals. Now we tend to see many people form organizations saying charity club and trying to put smile on people’s face. I could relate because currently i am serving and my cds is under charity group so i know how things are been organized within. That is a voluntary giving which is not a test of charity. When talking about test, it is like saying challenge and when we say challenge it means somethings that is not easy and you do it in a tight way.

When charity start becoming like a burden or you feel it is already looking like stress that is not a voluntary giving. It is like giving help in a very tight situation which you yourself never expected before and when we are talking about charity, it does not necessarily have to be money. Let us look at this example now you have a friend and you just got a call from him in the middle of the night that his car got broken down along the street not too far from yours and the area is dangerous, stranded with no cash and the only bike he saw was calling an amount so much he put a call through to you and immediately you pick up your car key and went there to pick him up saving him the stress, that is a termed charity to me.

And i believe if the act can continue not to just people we know but mainly to those we don’t know that is the real charity we are talking about because from the example above he was already fast asleep and on a normal day he should not even respond so fast to the call and he picked up the car key immediately to save a friend which is actually cool.

Charity does not just happen once but it is a continuous stuff to do and that is why i said once charity is already becoming a burden it is already out of it. The test of. Charity can be very challenging that sometimes you will just want to walk out of there and not do anything. If you are not in your tight schedule you cannot be able to know if you can do charity or not imagine having last card with you and you just have to give out what you have.
