Genus Mecopoda

While having dinner with my family, suddenly we were surprised by a black insect that flew and hit the dish rack, at first we thought it was a house cricket, so we didn't pay much attention to it, but not long after my youngest brother approached the insect, and it turned out to be a black grasshopper, in my area this insect is often called Darut Jen. When my youngest brother said that this grasshopper was brown, I immediately rushed to approach it, this grasshopper does have a fairly stable population in my area, but only the green one. The brown grasshopper is quite rare and I haven't seen it for a very long time, the shape and size are the same, but the color is what differentiates it.

This grasshopper is not too big and not too small, it has wings that are larger than its body size. Its color looks very unique and elegant, if seen under the light, its color will reflect several other colors.
