End Of Season Summary - How good new soulbound cards could be ?

The first season of new soulbound cards is over, so I think it is summary time. :).

In the last season's summary post, I briefly described my strategy for several accounts I use. For this season it was easier to implement it because tournaments were available for the whole season at once. Normally splinterlands team provide new tournaments only for a week period, so I have to wait at least a week to jump to the higher league to have the option to play more tournaments. I think I will write a separate post about it because a few people already asked me about it.

So, we have new soulbound cards, new toys. I have to say I was excited when I was opening all focus daily chest and end of season ones. For sure now they are worth nothing from monetary point of view, but they give you more options for battle, new strategy and fun. :)

Below you have the whole season summary, check the right top part where you can see what types and amounts of chests I receive for the whole season. This is the thing I want to describe, I am still not sure if now this is the best strategy because I still playing silver level deck and earning Diamond chest. Maybe in this case is better drop the league to earn more lower league chests. I am planned to do some experiment of both of my silver account and compare the results. Oh, one more thing, maybe you got already some comparison if it is better to get more higher quality chest or maybe stay lower and get more quantity ? Please comment, waiting for you answers.

For whole season I only 2 legendaries :( not a great luck, I hope next season will be better.

As I mentioned in the last post, first time on the last season I have not reach champion for severals seasons. So it was high time to make up for it. I have played only few days during season, mostly in brawl time and at the end of the season. No legendary in this account, I hope next season with champion chest will be better.

I have to say I am quite excited about those new cards and rewards system, for sure as almost always there is no system without any flaws. I have just watched Tales of the Cryptmancer / @synist3r video, in which he points out the main threats to the new rewards cards distribution.
For now, as I already received some of the new cards, I will try to play them as often I can to check how they perform in real battles. I hope I could get enough experience to create some review post before the next season.
