[ENG/ESP]QUESTION OF THE WEEK 9.2 - "If there is a God why is there so much suffering in the world?/PREGUNTA DE LA SEMANA 9.2 - "Si hay un Dios, ¿por qué hay tanto sufrimiento en el mundo?
Happy weekend to everyone especially to the @ecotrain community, after a long time without publishing due to illness caused by covid-19 and its very strong aftermath, thank God I am now healthy and I am starting with this new theme of the week. As always I love these challenges of questions that induce us to write our criteria in reference. This topic is very extensive and controversial, it depends on how each one looks at it and interprets it. In particular, I consider that it is a social construction based on human history that has different qualifiers over time. Since our beginnings we have been educated with the belief that there is good and evil. Good is represented for believers and Catholics by our God creator of the infinite universe and evil by the devil or devil with its different names. According to the "Bible" the book of Christians and believers it is said that God created a world without suffering or evil, it was a beautiful paradise, before the arrival of sin when Adam and Eve disobeyed the requirement of God allowing themselves to be deceived by Satan who acted with deceit and cruelty to make them change, at that time there was peace, joy, harmony, perfection. That was exactly how God wanted the world to be. What we are suffering is not supposed to have been a direct consequence of something bad we have done but of a past.
Feliz fin de semana a todos en especial a la comunidad de @ecotrain, después de mucho tiempo sin publicar debido a la enfermedad provocada por el covid-19 y sus fortísimas secuelas, gracias a Dios ya estoy sano y empiezo con este nuevo tema de la semana. Como siempre me encantan estos retos de preguntas que nos inducen a escribir nuestros criterios en referencia. Este tema es muy extenso y controvertido, depende de cómo lo mire e interprete cada uno. Particularmente, considero que es una construcción social basada en la historia de la humanidad que tiene diferentes calificativos a lo largo del tiempo. Desde nuestros inicios hemos sido educados con la creencia de que existe el bien y el mal. El bien está representado para los creyentes y católicos por nuestro Dios creador del universo infinito y el mal por el diablo o demonio con sus diferentes nombres. Según la "Biblia" el libro de los cristianos y creyentes se dice que Dios creó un mundo sin sufrimiento ni maldad, era un hermoso paraíso, antes de la llegada del pecado cuando Adán y Eva desobedecieron el requerimiento de Dios dejándose engañar por Satanás que actuó con engaño y crueldad para hacerlos cambiar, en ese momento había paz, alegría, armonía, perfección. Así era exactamente como Dios quería que fuera el mundo. Se supone que lo que estamos sufriendo no ha sido consecuencia directa de algo malo que hemos hecho sino de un pasado.
For many people these notions can be known by a super human reference whether it is religion or divine belief, for others it is a social construction.
Today there are so many sufferings in the world that we do not know who to blame for so many evils: God? Man? Who, in particular? When we talk about kidnappings, murders, crimes, rapes, wars, catastrophes, incurable diseases, addictions, pandemics, accidents and any number of evils that cause suffering to those affected, many of these are created and carried out by human beings and it is as people we experience certain impotence when we can not do anything to solve this type of negative situations. As we can see nature and man himself are responsible for unleashing such evils and cause much suffering both physical and emotional and emotional conscious as fear, frustration and helplessness or laziness.
Para muchas personas estas nociones pueden ser conocidas por una referencia sobrehumana ya sea la religión o la creencia divina, para otras es una construcción social. Hoy en día hay tantos sufrimientos en el mundo que no sabemos a quién culpar de tantos males: ¿Dios? ¿Al hombre? ¿A quién, en concreto? Cuando hablamos de secuestros, asesinatos, crímenes, violaciones, guerras, catástrofes, enfermedades incurables, adicciones, pandemias, accidentes y cualquier cantidad de males que causan sufrimiento a los afectados, muchos de ellos son creados y llevados a cabo por el ser humano y es como personas que experimentamos cierta impotencia al no poder hacer nada para solucionar este tipo de situaciones negativas. Como podemos ver la naturaleza y el propio hombre son los responsables de desencadenar este tipo de males y causar mucho sufrimiento tanto físico como emocional y consciente como el miedo, la frustración y la impotencia o la pereza.
Generally most people have suffered at some point in our lives from this condition called suffering but it is not human because it always comes in different forms in greater or lesser amount and we feel as if a great storm invades us many times sweeping away our joy and well-being, leaving a great void affecting our tranquility and emotional peace especially when we lose a loved one as parents, children, partner or a family member, many people are locked in depression which often do not overcome and even go crazy. Personally I think and share that even so suffering is a choice of each person, it is often a way to manipulate or show ourselves to others and assume the role of victim. If we see it in a positive way this teaches us that we cannot control certain circumstances but we can control the attitude towards the facts, taking it as a learning opportunity in our lives, either to reflect and to begin to improve and strengthen ourselves by developing skills to solve these types of problems, for a better quality of life both emotionally and socially, it can be said that suffering when we manage to control it becomes even a friend. Another solution and the most indicated is to seek professional help depending on each situation that we go through, all this tells us that our inner world becomes visible when suffering visits us, making us aware of our true needs and concerns.
"Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional" is the conclusion Buddha reached after years of meditation.
Generalmente la mayoría de las personas hemos padecido en algún momento de nuestra vida esta condición llamada sufrimiento pero no es humano porque siempre se presenta de diferentes formas en mayor o menor cantidad y sentimos como si una gran tormenta nos invadiera muchas veces arrasando con nuestra alegría y bienestar, dejando un gran vacío afectando nuestra tranquilidad y paz emocional sobre todo cuando perdemos a un ser querido como padres, hijos, pareja o algún familiar, muchas personas se encierran en una depresión que muchas veces no superan e incluso se vuelven locas. Personalmente pienso y comparto que aun así el sufrimiento es una elección de cada persona, muchas veces es una forma de manipular o mostrarnos a los demás y asumir el papel de víctima. Si lo vemos de manera positiva esto nos enseña que no podemos controlar ciertas circunstancias pero si podemos controlar la actitud ante los hechos, tomándolo como una oportunidad de aprendizaje en nuestras vidas, ya sea para reflexionar y comenzar a mejorar y fortalecernos desarrollando habilidades para resolver este tipo de problemas, para una mejor calidad de vida tanto emocional como social, se puede decir que el sufrimiento cuando logramos controlarlo se convierte hasta en un amigo. Otra solución y la más indicada es buscar ayuda profesional dependiendo de cada situación que atravesemos, todo esto nos dice que nuestro mundo interior se hace visible cuando el sufrimiento nos visita, haciéndonos conscientes de nuestras verdaderas necesidades y preocupaciones.

Saludos @maxili63 pues parece que todo se remonta a tiempos inmemoriales, Adán y Eva, escogimos desobedecer a Dios y eso nos salió mal. Es un poco confuso, sobre todo para los más jóvenes, niños y adolescentes de hoy en día, entender las enseñanzas de la Biblia. Saludos!
