The plantain is one of the commonest plant you will ever see in west African Nigeria no matter the state. It also ranges from hybrid to local breed just like in the case of animals. And that is why immediately you want to jump into any type of farming you need to know this in your mind likewise you need to ask a lot of questions so that people will not maneuver breed for you. Simply because you are a novice. Although in life in one way or the other, the learning must be completed in any form. And that is why you need to always update your knowledge as individual farmers or person. Getting to know which of the crop species you need to buy at a particular point in time.
The plantain is also a very good crop that has a lot of advantage even though you have a small portion of agricultural Farmland. These agricultural Farmland will be shape into sections. Dear you can go for different crops on that particular agricultural Farmland and it will make a lot of sense after the cultivation or the planting of the seed or the sucker. I always tell people that no matter the situation you must always ask people and gain nothing from them. As individual it is not possible for you to know everything when you discuss questions then you will absolutely know how to Paco the question and the right answer to give on the farm. I went to the farm and this was what really happened on the plantain plantation.

But absolutely I will say that I can cultivate the plantain in any of the season and it will survive because I will always put a lot of water to moisturize the soil and to assist the plantain sucker to grow.

This other version without any form of shootout leaves are also best for transplanting. Within 3 weeks you see them with multiple leaves. I mean multiple plantain leaves which also helps a lot. There is no any form of diseases that really affect plantain or banana except for drought.
