Hello Hivers 💘💕,

Sometimes ago I did a post on the cultivation of green vegetables on the nursery bed. Yes, its took a while before this because I went on an assignment and now I made a visit to the section and here its what it is. At this point I saw that the rain has stopped for some few days and this also affected the growth and germination of the vegetable and the nursery bed. This is one thing again that the Farmers face. When it is due for crop to germinate and mature we see that this may take more weeks than it is been calculated. Agriculture is not always for the weak ones. For those of us that are into agriculture deeply. We know different types of challenges we face as individuals.

Sometimes the rain will actually fall and forfeit everything that has been growing up for more than 4 weeks. It has happened to me before. So we have different challenges based on the type of crop we cultivate. So at this point what we did is manual irrigation system. And that is why we should always put every Factor into consideration when getting into different crop production. Even the animal section as well. We need to first of all produce the solution to any kind of problem. I took some pictures of the nursery bed as I got there.

Yes they are more than 3 weeks old as I speak. This is what the nature has to offer. We cannot jump through whats the nature have for us as farmers. So it is one stage at a time.

The type of nursery bed is also the same as if you want to plant other green vegetables too. What you need is just to make sure that the sun is very fertile to at least to hold soil nutrients for a while. That is the essence of applying organic fertilizer at first. It is not mandatory but if you have it around you it is good before planting the seed.

The purpose of applying the green vegetable seed as much as this is also to make sure if the seeds are still valid. Valid in the sense that. There are times when you keep your seeds and it takes a very long time before you plant it again. Then it may not grow and germinate. It has happened to me before, when I dedicated a lot of times to sort out some certain green vegetable seed. At the long run they did not grow at all.

This is one of the stages of the green vegetable when you plant it. Its will first of all grow scantly and later on the leaves will become more bigger. Just like every other plants but you also need to regulate the weed growing up with the cultivated crop you have in your nursery bed. Or else that will be a lot of competition of nutrients.

As it is if you want to introduce another crop such as pepe or tomato it can come up at this time of the planting. This is when mixed cropping system comes in gradually. You first of all need one particular crop to grow to a particular stage, then introduce another one through transplanting method.

I also planted pepper in another section which I will also transplant very soon. I'm going to take us through the pictures as soon as possible as well. Discipline is that when it is rainy season as a farmer you need to diversify your thinking and make food available in excess.
