These are also part of some of the crops that can be planted during the rainy season throughout the world although we have some part of Nigeria that cannot plant on their soil due to some soil factors. But nevertheless we still have pretty more farmers of different crop production either ways turn into animal production while some into crop mainly. So when you talk about giving your best into your production it means a lot just like this particular cassava Farm.

There are so many procedures to follow before it can be seen this way. From the start we have the land preparation which some will not take into consideration Or take it lightly but frankly speaking this is the foundation of a very good production in any kind of Farming settings. It will make your crop or seeds to germinate very well at a very good soil formation. I was on my way to an assignment when I saw this particular cassava Farm which has been planted during the dry season but when the rain comes it gained more weight and strength in growth and development as you can see it. I took some pictures of it although the cassava is edible for consumption.

The cassava is much more edible when it is fully matured. When you are worst days it turns more Whitish and it has a very reddish back which makes it different from the other specie of the cassava.

In this case this particular cassava Farm is handled by few farmers although the labour was done manually. The ridges was done with hoe. We have different types of hoe. Some are for light weeding while some are for making heaps and ridges.

Although to the Farmers who actually do a very big commercial farm for making cassava flakes this particular cassava specie is not really advisable because it contains a lot of water. So the 2nd option will be much more preferable which is the second type of the cassava stem. The second one is very moderate when it comes to the water level while making cassava flakes.
