So I edited the pixel-gif I made yesterday. I am quite happy with the end-result:

So apparently using black contours is not suitable if you only have a few pixels to work with (each frame only has 32x32 pixels). Coloring the contours with a light or darker version of the corresponding filled area gives an overall nicer look. I guess this is because it adds a bit of depth to the pixel image.

I also changed its legs a bit. Owls, like most birds of prey, look they have shorts with long orange or yellow boots so I added the pixels for that :P
