Splinterlands art contest week 253 || Terraceous Grunt

Hello everyone, i finished my new digital painting last night. this is my entry for splinterlands art contest week 253 as you can see in the title.
i decided to draw this character because it has a monster look.

what i find about them from the lore is that they are magical creatures made of earth and stone. but they also have some vegetation look in their body.
they don't have a magic stuff but i gave him one. because it looked cool, i thought.

Maybe this one has a magical stuff because this one is different from all the others of his race.

I started with very rough sketch. used a thin brush and just did scribble all over the page.
i made its entire leg out of vines.
This is one of those drawing where i did some lineart after the rough sketch. that really helped while coloring.
although at the end i removed them completely.
