Hace dos meses les platiqué sobre la primera temporada de este k-drama de medicina, y entre muchas cosas mencioné que solo la primera temporada estaba disponible para Latinoamérica, por lo cual me estuve limitada para hablarles más sobre ella. Hasta el 14 de octubre, que Netflix por fin se dignó a dejarnos disfrutar a los de habla hispana sobre esta maravillosa producción que tanto revuelo logró en Corea. Hospital Playlist o Pasillos de Hospital en espeañol, regresó con fuerza cerrando ciclos, abriendo otros y manteniendo una energía y feeling armonioso y entretenido.

Estuve demasiado emocionada con esta segunda entrega, esperé durante la madrugada de su estreno para verla de una vez y no me arrepiento de nada, el primer capítulo constó de casi dos horas permitiendo disfrutar de cada uno de los personajes. La verdad, lo que menos quería era terminarla, alargué los capítulos como no se imaginan, no quería terminarla nunca, me brindaba un espacio seguro, pero como todo lo bueno debe terminar, aquí estoy con un vacío en mi corazón, no he podido ver otro dorama, pareciera que le estoy guardando luto al mejor dorama, para mí, del 2021.

Los personajes tuvieron su momento de desarrollo de manera atractiva, el cruce de historias permitía que la trama avanzara a pasos lentos pero fuerte. La producción logró mantener la tensión, el misterio romántico y la carga emotiva episodio tras episodio. Esta historia nos presenta a cinco amigos exitosos en su trabajo como médicos, pero carentes de otros puntos importantes de la vida, como relacionarse con las personas, la estabilidad en pareja, el equilibrio familiar, además demuestran el fuerte trabajo de la medicina y como se esfuerzan por mantener su salud y el lazo inmarcesible de la amistad.

Para la temporada pasada Yoo Yeon Seok había sido mi personaje favorito, pero para esta entrega el actor Jo Jong Suk con su personaje Lee Ik Joon robó y cautivó toda la atención, maneja una carisma sublima e interpreta con elegancia su papel de padre soltero, enamorado de su mejor amiga que ese esfuerza diariamente por unir a sus amigos, ayudar a sus aprendices y estar atento a su familia mientras salva vidas con constancia. Además, representa a un excelente cirujano de trasplante de hígado que logra establecer la mejor relación doctor-paciente, y hace de cupido, ¡cumple con las características del hombre ideal!

Esta serie relata a través de los personajes sobre cinco ámbitos de la medicina: la neurocirugía, cirugía cardiovascular, cirugía pediátrica, obstetricia y cirugía general en la especialización de trasplante de hígado. Además le da atención al área de emergencia y el trabajo tanto administrativo como el de recursos humanos. A pesar de concentrarse en la evolución de los personajes estos no hacen que los casos tratantes queden sin relevancia, presentan variedad de situaciones medicas que encogen el corazón y hacen llorar tanto de alegría como de tristeza. Para esta segunda ocasión tuvieron más perdidas, por esta razón el estado emocional es muy importante al observarla, si eres demasiado sensible, recomiendo que no la veas.

Los actores principales encarnaron con gran espontaneidad una amistad de años entre cinco médicos, además sus problemas de vida le dieron un toque especial y creíble a la historia, pero cabe destacar la participación de los personajes secundarios, la mayoría interpretan a médicos residentes, pero muchos de ellos fueron de gran importancia para la trama, los desarrollaron con atención y sostuvieron ciertos arcos de maravilla. El humor también es clave, la carisma que presentaron y lo divertido de ciertas escenas son como recibir un abrazo de tu persona favorita.

Los lazos románticos no faltaron, y uno en especifico se robó el show, la pareja que hicieron los personajes de Lee Ik Joon (Jo Jong Suk) y Chae Son Hwa (Jeon Mi Do) estuvo bastante emotiva, fue gratificante como le dieron un leve cierre a esa historia, pues me gustaría ver un avance más profundo, como el matrimonio; lo mismo sucede con las demás parejas secundarias, todas llegan a un buen punto pero no alcanzan el máximo potencial romántico, quiero tener esperanzas de que nos traerán una tercera temporada para dar un mejor final a las historias tanto de parejas como familiares.

La cuestión es que esta entrega estuvo mucho mejor que la primera, la música también volvió a ser un punto fuerte en la trama y logró mantener viva la buena energía, es algo que no esperas para el género de medicina, pero le queda tan bien que no logras tener quejas sobre ello. Hospital Playlist 2 fue dirigida por Shin Won-ho, escrita por Lee Woo-jung, planeada por tvN y producida por Eggs is Coming, dejó grandes puertas abiertas para seguir trabajando con ella, como por ejemplo el sueño de uno de los médicos en dejar de trabajar en el hospital Yulje, donde se desarrolla la trama, y abrir un hospital para niños. Muchas metas quedaron a la espera de ser cumplidas, despedidas momentáneas y regresos significativos, el potencial está allí, queda de parte de producción traernos más de esta genial historia.

Lo genial de esto es que el drama consta con una narrativa sumamente humana, una mezcla de géneros que la hicieron bastante ágil como el humor, el amor, la amistad, el compañerismo y la música. Verla es sumergirse en ella y ser parte de la serie acompañando a los médicos, a sus residentes y a los enfermos en cada circunstancia. Al final todo es impactante y muy emotivo, se convierte en un riego delicado para el alma, pocas series son tan positivas como esta.

En fin, la producción fue bastante difícil e imagino que costosa, por lo cual, aun cuando se planteaba una serie de tres temporadas, la última está en duda, los actores ya tomaron otros proyectos, pero espero de corazón que puedan regalarnos una temporada más, con una más alimentaré mi nuevo lugar seguro. ¡Anímense a verla!

Two months ago I told you about the first season of this medical k-drama, and among many things I mentioned that only the first season was available for Latin America, so I was limited to tell you more about it. Hospital Playlist or Pasillos de Hospital in Spanish, returned with force, closing cycles, opening others and maintaining a harmonious and entertaining energy and feeling.

I was too excited with this second installment, I waited during the early morning of its premiere to watch it at once and I do not regret anything, the first chapter consisted of almost two hours allowing me to enjoy each of the characters. The truth, what I least wanted was to finish it, I lengthened the chapters as you can't imagine, I never wanted to finish it, it gave me a safe space, but as all good things must end, here I am with an emptiness in my heart, I have not been able to watch another dorama, it seems that I am mourning the best dorama, for me, of 2021.

The characters had their moment of development in an attractive way, the crossing of stories allowed the plot to advance in slow but strong steps. The production managed to maintain the tension, romantic mystery and emotional charge episode after episode. This story introduces us to five friends who are successful in their work as doctors, but lacking in other important points of life, such as relating to people, couple stability, family balance, as well as demonstrating the strong work of medicine and how they strive to maintain their health and the unfading bond of friendship.

For last season Yoo Yeon Seok had been my favorite character, but for this installment actor Jo Jong Suk with his character Lee Ik Joon stole and captivated all the attention, he manages a sublime charisma and elegantly plays his role as a single father, in love with his best friend who strives daily to unite his friends, help his trainees and be attentive to his family while saving lives with constancy. He also portrays an excellent liver transplant surgeon who manages to establish the best doctor-patient relationship, and plays cupid, fulfilling the characteristics of the ideal man!

This series tells through the characters about five areas of medicine: neurosurgery, cardiovascular surgery, pediatric surgery, obstetrics and general surgery in the specialization of liver transplantation. In addition, attention is given to the emergency area and both administrative and human resources work. Despite concentrating on the evolution of the characters, they do not make the treating cases irrelevant, they present a variety of medical situations that shrink the heart and make you cry with joy and sadness. For this second time they had more losses, for this reason the emotional state is very important when watching it, if you are too sensitive, I recommend that you do not watch it.

The main actors embodied with great spontaneity a friendship of years between five doctors, also their life problems gave a special and credible touch to the story, but it is worth mentioning the participation of the secondary characters, most of them play resident doctors, but many of them were of great importance to the plot, they developed them with attention and sustained certain arcs wonderfully. Humor is also key, the charisma they presented and the fun of certain scenes are like getting a hug from your favorite person.

The romantic ties were not lacking, and one in specific stole the show, the couple that made the characters of Lee Ik Joon (Jo Jong Suk) and Chae Son Hwa (Jeon Mi Do) was quite emotional, it was gratifying how they gave a slight closure to that story, as I would like to see a deeper advancement, such as marriage; The same goes for the other secondary couples, they all reach a good point but don't reach the full romantic potential, I want to hope that they will bring us a third season to give a better ending to the stories of both couples and family.

The thing is that this installment was much better than the first one, the music also returned to be a strong point in the plot and managed to keep the good energy alive, it's something you don't expect for the medical genre, but it fits so well that you don't manage to have complaints about it. Hospital Playlist 2 was directed by Shin Won-ho, written by Lee Woo-jung, planned by tvN and produced by Eggs is Coming, it left big doors open for further work with it, such as the dream of one of the doctors to stop working at Yulje Hospital, where the plot takes place, and open a children's hospital. Many goals were left waiting to be fulfilled, momentary farewells and significant returns, the potential is there, it is up to the production to bring us more of this great story.

The great thing about it is that the drama has a very human narrative, a mix of genres that made it quite agile such as humor, love, friendship, companionship and music. To watch it is to immerse oneself in it and be part of the series, accompanying the doctors, their residents and the patients in every circumstance. At the end everything is shocking and very emotional, it becomes a delicate irrigation for the soul, few series are as positive as this one.

Anyway, the production was quite difficult and, I imagine, expensive, so even though it was planned to be a three-season series, the last one is in doubt, the actors have already taken on other projects, but I sincerely hope they can give us one more season, with one more I will feed my new safe place.
