The film world always has something to offer, life is not enough for all the wonderful hidden gems, between movies, series, documentaries, animations and others, the list of programs to watch never shortens but gets longer and longer. Many people have a passion for movies, others only for series and so each one with a specific taste, personally I enjoy almost everything that cinema, television and streaming platforms can offer, whether good or bad, there is always something I can learn.

One of my personal preferences that I admire in a special way, is Japanese animation, popularly known as anime. Now it is more accepted to be able to talk about this audiovisual genre, however before it was being judged in a rather derogatory way. If anyone has followed the work on my blog, you will know that sometimes I give some recommendations both for lovers of the genre or someone who perhaps does not know whether to finally give a chance to this little world.

For this occasion I come to tell you about a movie that I've been waiting for with much anticipation, belonging to one of the great popular shonen fandoms of today. Thanks to the current demand for anime, theaters in Latin America have been encouraged to release the most anticipated movies by fans, and although I have a lot to say about it, I'm glad to have been able to live the experience of seeing on the big screen a story that has a unique place in my heart, My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission.

Just so you're a little bit in place, this anime is about superheroes, that typical and quite popular story of people who are born with special powers, you know, I think most of you have been a fan of it at some point. For this occasion they brought the third movie based on the series My Hero Academia or Boku no hero. After its official announcement it only took 5 months to be released in Japan, and I waited a few more months to see it in my country, where it was released on January 13, 2022 in Venezuela.

I went to its premiere at the cinema, and I hadn't talked about it before because I had so many things going on in my personal life, some of you may have noticed that I haven't been around much. However, I'm getting my bearings on Hive again and I re-watched it recently the movie a bit calmer, so I'm here to give my honest opinion of it.

[I am fascinated by one character in particular]

Synopsis

When a sinister organization threatens to wipe out all the dons, the fate of the world hangs in the balance. With two hours until the collapse of civilization, Deku, Bakugo and Todoroki manage to work as a team, but there's still one problem: Deku is being hunted for committing a murder

The story revolves around Deku, our main protagonist, this beloved character known for his excessive kindness, it seems that he also became stupid when he wanted to save a villain, that action makes the story just twist and turn towards his inevitable and unattractive fate. While his co-protagonists, the only ones with a bit of intelligence in their actions (Bakugo and Todoroki) go about saving our prota's life as many times as possible, and the world itself. This only precipitates into a fight against a villain with a lacking and stupid reason to destroy them all, and battles that were really unwinnable for our characters. All this while the special protagonist who starts as a villain and ends as a hero, is a guy who does his best to keep his family safe and has been blessed with an arguably "useless" quirk (power).

Honestly, the story did not touch my heart at any time, and I firmly believe that one of the most emotional shonen movies is precisely the second production of this anime, Boku no hero: Heroes Rising. It is then when I see this recent work and I can assure that it is not even close to its predecessor, for all the events addressed and the protagonist emotions; it pains me to confess it, but in the two times I saw it, I was just disappointed.

Hero Rinsing

This movie is simple and straightforward, at the beginning it seems to promise a lot when it tries to delve into the topic of the great danger that could represent the quirks (powers) given its evolution with each generation, but as well as it touches the subject, it also gets lost among the predictable plot. The more the story progressed it seemed like it was made up of a bunch of filler scenes, I almost thought I was watching Naruto. The relevance of the characters fell flat, the focus on the main two escaping danger only made the story tedious, the lack of focus and development on both the rest of its main characters and villains killed any magic that could engage the viewer.

We really started off badly from the moment the theater did not offer the movie in its original language, maybe they will think it is a movie for children and most of them do not know how to read, however it is moderately far from reality, the fandom that most moves this animation is among teenagers and young adults, those who were in the room with me shared the sadness of not being able to hear the characters with their typical phrases in Japanese, really the dubbing caused me a headache, the worst thing is that it was in Spanish from Spain.

I think that one of the reasons why there are so many failures for this production was the speed with which they released the movie, I think that since it was not something canonical but for the fans, it ended up being a complete failure of 1 hour and 45 minutes.

One of the things for which this anime is quite loved, is for its graphics, but on this occasion I consider that it touched the point of: lamentable. On several occasions the characters looked deformed and the planes were bad, the drawing itself lacked the attention with which we had become accustomed to. We all know that such work is not easy at all, but if what they needed was time to bring an excellent animation, I am sure that the reproaches would not even echo. Even so, there are fans who applaud this production, and in part I understand them, because it is their favorite anime, but in an objective and clear way, I consider that they took it as a game, something unimportant, and I find it so sad.

It's my first anime movie at the cinema, so I really had all the high expectations, especially after the hype its previous production had caused, but the excitement turned into a raging grudge that was not appeased even by seeing my favorite character being saved from death.

This movie was written by Kôhei Horikoshi together with Yôsuke Kuroda and directed by Kenji Nagasaki, despite all the questionable acts I mentioned, the movie serves as a very nice way to start with the adventure of that story in general, if you are someone who hasn't seen anything concerning it, you will most likely like it, besides that it has two different shades, from a beginning with a clear insinuation that they will become disturbing and dark, which teenagers like, but at the same time they have many teachings about friendship, family, good and overcoming that makes the work something to see with the little ones of the house.

Although I consider this movie an unnecessary filler, I am also won over by the emotion that it is a production of one of my favorite anime, and I recognize that it did have scenes and moments that I will treasure, especially the experience of watching it in its premiere. This is far from a recommendation, but if you decide to check it out, I hope you'll keep the good stuff, dear reader.

Anything to highlight?

The soundtrack was quite special, it added the emotion that the graphics couldn't have, and it touched certain emotional fibers even though the story lacked it. The person in charge of it was Yuki Hayashi, who deserves all the respect in the world.

I come with strength for Hive, especially in this wonderful Film and TV community, I sincerely hope that everyone who took the time to read me is in peace and tranquility, I send many blessings to all and a big hug.

El mundo cinematográfico siempre tiene algo que ofrecer, la vida no nos alcanza para todas las maravillosas joyas escondidas, entre películas, series, documentales, animaciones y demás, la lista de programas pendientes por ver nunca se acorta sino que se alarga más y más. Muchos comporten la pasión por el cine, otros solo por las series y así cada quien con un gusto específico, personalmente disfruto casi todo lo que el cine, la televisión y las plataformas streaming puedan ofrecer, ya sea bueno o malo, siempre hay algo que puedo aprender.

Una de mis preferencias personales que admiro de una forma especial, es la animación japonesa, popularmente conocido como anime. Ahora está más aceptado poder hablar de este género audiovisual, sin embargo antes era ser juzgado de una manera bastante despectiva. Si alguien ha seguido el trabajo en mi blog, sabrá que a veces doy algunas recomendaciones tanto para los amantes del género o alguien que quizás no sabe si darle por fin una oportunidad a este mundillo.

Para esta ocasión vengo a hablarles sobre una película que estuve esperando con muchas ansias, perteneciente a uno de los grandes fandoms populares de la actualidad en el shonen. Gracias a la demanda actual del anime, los cines en Latinoamérica se han estado animando a estrenar las películas más esperadas por los fanáticos, y aunque tengo mucho que decir sobre ella, me alegra haber podido vivir la experiencia de ver en la pantalla grande una historia que tiene un espacio único en mi corazón, My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission.

Para que estén un poco ubicados, este anime es sobre superhéroes, esa típica historia bastante popular de personas que nacen con poderes especiales, ya saben, creo que la gran mayoría ha sido fan de ello en algún momento. Para esta ocasión trajeron la tercera película basada en la serie My Hero Academia o Boku no hero. Luego de su anuncio oficial solo tardó 5 meses en ser estrenada en Japón, y yo esperé unos meses más para verla en mi país, en dónde fue estrenada el 13 de enero del 2022 en Venezuela.

Fui a su estreno en el cine, y no había hablado sobre ello antes porque tenía muchas cosas sucediendome en mi vida personal, algunos se habrán percatado de que no he estado seguido por aquí. Sin embargo, estoy tomando mi rumbo en Hive otra vez y me la volví a ver recientemente la película un poco más calmada, así que vengo a dar mi opinión sincera de ello.

[Estoy fascinada por un personaje en especial]

Sinopsis.

Cuando una siniestra organización amenaza con acabar con todos los dones, el destino del mundo está en juego. Con dos horas hasta el colapso de la civilización, Deku, Bakugo y Todoroki logran trabajar en equipo, pero todavía hay un problema: Deku está siendo perseguido por haber cometido un asesinato

La historia gira en torno a Deku, nuestro principal protagonista, este querido personaje conocido por su excesiva amabilidad, parece que también se volvió tonto al querer salvar a un villano, esa acción hace que la historia solo gire y gire hacia su inevitable y poco atractivo destino. Mientras sus co-protagonistas, los únicos con un poco de inteligencia en sus acciones (Bakugo y Todoroki) van salvando la vida de nuestro prota todas las veces posibles, y al mundo en sí. Esto solo se precipita en una lucha contra un villano con una carente y estúpida razón de destruirlos a todos, y unas batallas que eran realmente imposible de ganar para nuestros personajes. Todo eso mientras el protagonista especial que comienza como villano y termina como héroes, es un chico que hace lo posible por mantener a su familia a salvó y ha sido bendecido con un quirk (poder) podría decirse "inútil".

Sinceramente la historia no me llegó en ningún momento al corazón, y creo firmemente de que una de las películas más emotivas del shonen es justamente la segunda producción de este anime, Boku no hero: Heroes Rising. Es entonces cuando veo esta obra reciente y puedo asegurar que no está ni de cerca con su antecesora, por todos los acontecimientos abordados y las emociones protagónicas; me duele confesarlo, pero en la dos veces que la vi, solo quedé decepcionada.

Hero Rinsing

Esta película es simple y sencilla, al inicio parece prometer mucho cuando intenta ahondar en el tema del gran peligro que podrían representar los quirks (poderes) dada su evolución con cada generación, pero así como se toca el tema, también se pierde entre la predecible trama. Mientras más avanzaba la historia parecía que estaba hecha de un montón de escenas de relleno, casi pensé que estaba viendo Naruto. La relevancia de los personajes quedó por el suelo, el enfoque centrado en los dos principales escapando del peligro solo hizo tediosa la historia, la falta de atención y desarrollo tanto en el resto de sus personajes principales como en los villanos mató cualquier magia que podría captar al espectador.

Realmente comenzamos mal desde el momento en el que el cine no ofreció la película en su idioma original, quizás pensarán que es una película para niños y la mayoría no sabe leer, sin embargo está medianamente alejado de la realidad, el fandom que más mueve esta animación es entre adolescentes y jóvenes adultos, los que estaban en la sala conmigo compartimos la tristeza de no poder escuchar a los personajes con sus típicas frases en japonés, de verdad el doblaje me ocasionó dolor de cabeza, lo peor es que estaba en español de España.

Considero que una de las razones por las hay tantos fallos para esta producción fue la rapidez con la que estrenaron la película, pienso que al no ser algo canonico sino que era para los fans, terminó siendo una falla completa de 1 hora con 45 minutos.

Una de las cosas por las que es bastante querido este anime, es por su gráficos, pero en esta ocasión considero que tocó el punto de: lamentable. En varias ocasiones los personajes se veían deformes y los planos estaban mal, el dibujo en sí careció de la atención con la que nos habían acostumbrado. Todos sabemos que dicha labor no es para nada fácil, pero si lo que necesitaban era tiempo para traer una excelente animación, estoy segura que los reproches no harían ni eco. Aún así hay fans que aplauden esta producción, y en parte los entiendo, porque es su anime favorito, pero de una manera objetiva y clara, considero que se lo tomaron como un juego, algo sin importancia, y me parece tan triste.

Es mi primera película de anime en el cine, así que tenía realmente todas las expectativas altas, sobre todo después del revuelo que había ocasionado su producción anterior, pero la emoción se convirtió en un rencor rabioso que no fue apaciguado ni siquiera al ver a mi personaje favorito salvándose de la muerte.

Esta película fue escrita por Kôhei Horikoshi junto a Yôsuke Kuroda y dirigida por Kenji Nagasaki, a pesar de todas los actos cuestionables que he mencionado, la película sirve de manera muy agradable para iniciar con la aventura de esa historia en general, si eres alguien que no ha visto nada referente a ello, es muy probable que te guste, además de que tiene dos matices distintas, desde un comienzo con una clara insinuación a que se volverán inquietante y oscura, lo que gusta a los adolescentes, pero al mismo tiempo tienen muchas enseñanzas sobre la amistad, la familia, el bien y la superación que hace de la obra algo para ver junto a los más pequeños de la casa.

Aunque considero esta película un relleno innecesario, también me gana la emoción de que es una producción de uno de mis animes favoritos, y reconozco que sí contó con escenas y momentos que atesorare, sobre todo la experiencia en sí de verla en su estreno. Esto está lejos de ser una recomendación, pero si decides echarle el ojo, espero que te quedes con lo bueno, querido lector.

¿Algo que resaltar?

El soundtrack fue bastante especial, agregó la emoción que los gráficos no pudieron tener, y tocó ciertas fibras emotivas a pesar de que la historia careció de ello. El encargado de ello fue Yuki Hayashi, quién se merece todo el respeto del mundo.

Vengo con fuerzas para Hive, sobre todo en esta maravillosa comunidad de Cine y televisión, espero de corazón que todo el que se tomó el tiempo de leerme esté en paz y tranquilidad, envío muchas bendiciones para todos y un fuerte abrazo.
