LOH #121|| Do You Believe In Love At First Sight?

It's a great opportunity to participate in this week's #LOH challenge, When I see the questions I decided to jump into it. We were given two questions, but I will be going with the second question which is;
"Does love come on suddenly or grow over time? what are your keys to ensuring your relationship remains strong and healthy?"
Just like everything in the world, love too changes. People feel and show love differently, attraction also changes and grows over time. Everyone has a different experience when it comes to falling in love with someone. I have never believed in love at first sight. One can feel infatuated with someone because of their physical appearance at first sight, but there's no way you can know everything about that person that first day. Love requires knowing each other and it takes time to develop. Firstly you get to know their character, interests, etc.
Patience is something we should consider during this process, patience is not forcing something to happen, if it's meant to be, just trust the process, and it will work out. Love is not instant gratification or a romance that blooms overnight. we should be patient enough in allowing things to happen naturally, there's no need to rush. Most times when people rush into it, they might end up rushing out, we have to take it slow without pushing the pace.
Building a strong relationship
To maintain a long-lasting relationship, here are some of the necessary things we should not neglect:
Trust: Does love grow without trust? I have always believed that trust is one of the vital things in building a strong foundation in any relationship, love strengthens with time as we build trust and you'll feel secure with your partner.
Being present: We should strive to be present both Physically and emotionally because being present and always available to listen to your partner can mean the world to them, and this is one of the biggest gifts we can give one another, this will always make them feel important, and it will also make the love to wax Stronger.
Don't expect perfection: love is never perfect, it's true that when we meet people we love, we find it fun and fulfilling, and joyful but that doesn't mean that they are both perfect. No matter the kind of love you shared, you might have the loveliest connection with your partner, but there are times you'll be angry at each other, You have to learn how to talk about what you want, but not in a threatening or blaming manner. A real relationship is all about growing and learning together.
Commitment:We should ask ourselves, are we mature enough to drive the bumps, to grow, rather than feeling skeptical or wondering if it will be better with someone else? The truth is that There will always be other tempting options (people) outside there. In building a strong relationship, two people in a relationship must be committed to each other.

Life partner, most start out meeting as friends or with friends, attraction to each other, mutual agreement to go into a future together with respect. Marriage does not tie one to another, more an arrangement to share equally going forward with children, support, knowledge.
No one can change the other, it is total acceptance or all will fail!
You're right, people don't have to rush into doing things , we have to follow the right process and we know ourselves better, so we should know the qualities we want from our partner.

Love at first sight is also a big NO for me, I don't believe in it at all. I believe love that grows over time is much preferable because it has already stand the test of times. And it's a relationship that spring forth from friendship till it leads to marriage
Exactly, that's just the right procedure, Love at first sight mostly happen in Kdrama and it's far from the reality, that's just my thought.

It is quite fascinating when others say "love-at-first-sight" but perhaps it's how they understand it. It's great but relationships need nurturing, a work that is required for both parties involved. And by work it includes those you have mentioned - trust, time for each other, commitment etc.

Well, in my own thought, When someone have feelings for someone he/she meet for the first time,I don't think it's love, it's infatuation...Love need to grow between two people for a period I time... Anything apart from that is an infatuation.

Great writing, girl :) Love is an emotion that requires time, patience, and effort to be cultivated and developed. Knowing each other's needs, thoughts, opinions, desires, and dreams is essential in order for true love to thrive. :) And these keys you mentioned :trust, commitment, and setting realistic expectations are all important factors when trying to build a strong relationship :)
