Live Worship Service By Bro. Daniel ...28/01/22

Thanks be to God.
The bible tells us to pray without ceasing. Therefore, I want to use this opportunity to thank the almighty God for being a partaker in the worship service this day. It was a day lightened with the blessings of God as brother Daniel brought the word of God to our door step.

These are my few understanding of the things taught in the worship service.
1 Corinthians 12:25-27, every member of the body should have same care, one to another. There is one body and Christ is the head. God commands us to love one another same way he loves us John 13:34-34. This means we are to render to one another love and equal care without deceit. We are also under the commandment of God to do good to every man especially to our households in faith, Galatians 6:10. This is the only way for us to be saved and God our father wants us to be saved and not perish, 2 peter 3:9. Today, I also learnt that it is important that we fill our Hearts with things that will justify us before God.

Teaching of the coming of Christ
The bible tells us that the time and day for Christ coming is unknown to everyone except God himself. In this regard, we are advised to ready ourselves for that day. One way to do that. Ecclesiastes 12:1, remember your creator now in the time of your youths. The day of our death is unknown to us, which means it is highly important to ready ourselves always in case death comes. To ready ourselves means being good ground just as the sowers parable described. If we are good grounds, the word of God will be kept in our hearts, not only kept but checked always for it not to be corrupted. The devil always tries to corrupt the word in us and make sure that the seed doesn't bear fruit. Therefore, in keeping the word, we should make sure that it bears fruit. The bible commands us to take away that wicked person because the word is already corrupted in him. If we don't take away those corrupted words, they might have the chance to corrupt others

Are we ready for the coming of Christ?
When the Lord comes, two people will be together, one taken and the other left. Christ is coming for those who are ready and the unprepared ones will end in glishing of teeth, Matthew 24:51. The readiness about the coming of Christ is explained with the story of the 10 virgins in Matthew 25:1-6. We can see in that verse that the 5 wise virgins brought with them oil filled in their lamps and also extra in their vessel while waiting for the groom. So when the groom came, though the slept but they were prepared to be taken with Christ because they slept in Christ. The foolish didn't bring oil with them and therefore wasn't prepared which caused them to go in search of oil and was left behind when the groom came. One thing to note is that the 10 virgins while waiting all slept but those who slept in Jesus wasn't left behind. Sleeping here refers to death. All who dies in Christ will be raised on the last day, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17. The oil is the doctrines keep in our hearts, so if we have Christ in us, it means we have oil.

Do not be righteous for the purpose of showoff
Matthew 6:1 and Ephesians 6:6 asked us to take heed not to do righteousness before men, not for eye service as men pleases but as God's servant doing his will from the heart. This means our righteousness should be genuine and not just for show off. When we do righteousness for show off, we commit sin willing and Hebrews 10:26 says, if we sin willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, then there is no more sacrify for our sin.
