01. Understanding the doctrines of God.....| Mass Indoctrination 14/02/2022 |
Greetings and thanks be to God to the brethrens of God.
It is an honor to be in the presence of God today being the first day of the MCGI mass Indoctrination service of the month of February. Mass Indoctrination is a program organized monthly by the Members Church of God International (Mcgi). It is aimed at helping people understand the doctrines of God while preparing to baptize those who has completed the program and have come to accept the doctrines. However, the program kicked off today for the month of February and will last for fourteen (14) days. For this fourteen days I will be publishing a summary of all that was taught and open a room for further learning and constructive criticism, which I expects to be done down the comment section. Now to the topic of today;

Doctrine of baptism
Baptism according to the bible in Acts 28:19-20, is the first doctrine of Christ. It is the washing away of sins and preparation of ones spirit in following the things of God. As humans we have a sinful nature and far from perfection. This is the reason why baptism is needed. We want to live the life of Christ, so we need to follow his way which means we strive for perfection because he whose way we want to follow is perfect. However, baptism is not a thing of force rather a willing decision one has to take. In the above bible verse, Christ commanded his disciples to go and make disciples of all nation. How is this done? The doctrines are presented to all and to whom who accepts, receives baptism.
Why must this laws be followed?
From the holy bible, Christ commanded his disciples to observe every doctrine laid out for them. In 1 Corinthians 14:37, saith Paul acknowledged that all that's written are the commandment of the Lord. Now the question is, if we say we want to follow the Lord, wouldn't it be stupidity not to follow his commands? Of course it will be, because if we want to know the way, we must follow him who knows the way and to that we need to adhere to his commands. In Acts 22:16, Paul was called upon to arise and get baptized and have all his sins washed away. What this means is that we can't follow Christ bearing sin.
Also from 1 Corinthians 1:1-2, you will understand why we can't follow Christ bearing sin. Paul was called to be an apostle after he has been baptized. Paul became a preacher of the gospel of God. We get enticed by things before going for them. This is why the doctrines are being taught. They are meant to entice you into accepting the words of God and after you pass that stage, you get baptism. Acts 2:47, those who received the word were added daily. The formal Way of joining the church of God is by receiving baptism. You hear the word and receive the word also. This is also why the words must be taught always until the whole nation becomes apostles of God.
Importance of Joining the church of God
If you want to truely follow the ways and abide with all his laws, then joining the gathering of God's brethren is a must. In our world, the brethren is the Church. God himself established the church and is the head of the church which the gentiles are fellow heir, Ephesians 3:6. This words that are being preached, will be the basis of judgement on the last day, so whether we accept or rejects the word, we will all be judged using the word, 12:18 of John.
Conclusion
Today taught of the doctrines of baptism and I hope I was able to deduce some important facts that was taught today. I encourage everyone reading this to come back tomorrow for the continuation of the discussion and criticism of the things being taught.
We are inviting you to join the MCGI Cares (Hive) community that study the words of God and also earn some reward by making our reactions on it. We can check this link https://peakd.com/c/hive-182074/trending.

Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.
MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.
II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
