What If Nigeria Suddenly Became The Most Advanced Country In The World?

I have been alone most of the time today, except when I have a class and go to attend to my students. Aside from that, I'm mostly alone, not talking to anybody or being my usual jovial self. And I'm sure you will want to ask why; the reason is that I can't stop thinking about the situation we are in in Nigeria.

But while thinking about all of it, my thinking drifted to another part of things, and that is what I will be sharing, and I would love you to picture or imagine it with me.... "How did Nigeria suddenly become the most advanced country in the world."

Don't even laugh. I laughed at first too, though I felt like I'm just making myself happy, but then change is constant, and anything can happen. So let me walk you through the most advanced country in the world today, Nigeria.

Just in a matter of months, our road networks became the best. No more potholes on our roads; traffic lights and security cameras are everywhere. All of those that were abducted have now been rescued, and these evil perpetrators are now long gone.

Also, our hospitals have now become the best. Once upon a time our leaders and politicians often traveled abroad to get themselves treated, but today no country has the type of advanced machines that we have here, and our doctors, nurses, and other health practitioners are now the best world-wide.

24/7 power supply is now what we are not just experiencing but also enjoying. No more band A, band B, and the likes. Also, there's food security, and prices of foods have now gone down. Water is now everywhere; everything has been made easy; even the minimum wage has now increased in multiple folds.

The most interesting part is how a lot of countries are now sending their ambassadors and the like to come and check and see what happened and what we are doing differently. Because how can all of these be possible in a country of particular concern?

I know it sounds like a dream. But then, our politicians are now being held accountable, and no one is now above the law. The leaders are now all about their citizens welfare and security.

But like I said earlier, a lot of people are now wondering and asking questions as to how we've become this advanced in a very short period of time. But then, no answers were found.

And years later, our kids, my own kids, grow up thinking that Nigeria has always been this good; they feel this is how the country has always been.... No power failure, no bad roads, no high cost of living, and all. The only thing they get to see is the past post of how it looked online and the little that we, their parents, now have to share with them about how it once looked.

Now, back to reality. Smiles 😊 😁 😁 😁.... I can't help but wonder how life would be if all of these is true.
