I Chose To Talk About The Good Teachers: The Ones Who Loved, Corrected, And Believed In Me.

A lot of people came to mind immediately I came across this week's prompt. The hurtful thing though is that I don't remember most of them for actually doing anything good. Some were harsh, some are fond of using harsh words and foul languages. A lot of them are themselves a definition of a person or teacher you should never become.

But then, I've decided to not talk about any of them, my focus is on the good, so I will be talking about this two people, one is a teacher and the other a lecturer.

This teacher of mine stands out because she treats me like her own. She's always paying attention to anything related to me, and I guess it was because I looked so much like her son and we as well shared the same name. I'm not sure if that's why, but whatever the reason was, I pray God remember her for good wherever she is now.

I can't recall her treating me less of a human, not as if she doesn't correct me and all, but she did everything with and in love. She's always encouraging me, advising me and looking out for me. Even though back then I never really understood these things...I was still very young. But now, I can say she's own if the few people that really believed in me.

Now, the second person as I said earlier is a senior lecturer and director in the higher institution I attended, he's also a family member too. But it isn't even about the relationship, it is about his willingness to always help anytime.

He never taught me though, he teaches statistics. And even when I had to offer that course as a borrowed course, he wasn't the one who took us. But then, when it comes to these issues and problems students always and will always face in school, this man made it easy. All those registration issues, payment issues, various signings, file submissions, certificate collections and all those stuffs that makes school stressful and tiring, he made it all easy.

And it's not just me, I always meet people in his office and even I myself have taken people to him so he can help, which he did willingly. He's a busy man_a pastor, lecturer, school director, and many more, even still he will always find a way to help. He will always find one or two people to put a call through and they will take the necessary steps.

I'm grateful to every teacher, lecturer, tutor, and all that I have in one way or the other crossed their path.
