The yellow thief

Born from the floor a yellow thief,
he went off alone to look for utensils.

Se llevó una bicicleta,
también la taza inmensa,
atrapó a la zarigüeya
y a la media galleta.

He took a bicycle, also the huge cup,he caught the possum and the half cookie.

Tantas cosas tomó,
que su cuerpo creció,
ahora es un inmenso ladrón
que ya no cabe en esta dimensión.

So many things he took,that his body grew,now he is an immense thief
that no longer fits in this dimension.

Y así es el poder,
cuando acapara sin saber por qué,
toma todo a su paso,
dejando de un solo color el mundo mágico.

And that's what power is like,
when it monopolizes without knowing why, takes everything in its path,
leaving the magic world of a single color.
