The neglected mandarin
La mandarina llega al plato y no se da cuenta de que está ocupado, aplasta con su peso las galletas que estaban esperando y empieza a quitarse su cáscara, sin darse cuenta de lo ocasionado.
The tangerine arrives at the plate and not realizing that he is busy, he crushes the waiting cookies with his weight and begins to take off their shells, without realizing what he has done.
Una vez está sin cáscara, la mandarina se marcha, quizá fue a una piscina cercana o a remojarse en un vaso con agua. Mientras tanto las galletas, tratan de salir de la cáscara que las apresa, aunque esta mucho pesa y está complicada la proeza.
Once the peel is off, the tangerine leaves, perhaps to a nearby pool or to soak in a glass of water. Meanwhile, the cookies try to get out of the shell that imprisons them, although it is very heavy and the feat is complicated.
Cuando las galletas logran, salir de la cáscara tediosa, sonríen de muchas formas, están felices a pesar de estar partidas y vueltas boronas.
When the cookies manage to come out of the tedious shell, they smile in many ways, they are happy even though they are broken.

Esas galletas hechas boronas o no, son muy ricas, y esa mandarina mala y/o despistada debe pagar las consecuencias.
