Spring + Countryside
Today was a warm day. About +6 C in the afternoon. Nights are still very cold. Early in Friday morning it was -17 C.
I took some shots along the streets and country roads. There is still a lot of snow but it is melting during the day and there are large pools of water in a lot of places.

Those one meter tall walls beside the walkways are commonplace. I saw a machine today that eats the snow and leaves a vertical wall like that.

This picture shows the wall eve better. Some roofs still have a lot of snow on them. Other roofs don't depending on whether they're mostly in the shade or whether the sun shines directly on them.

Lots of snow. When it will be gone depends a lot on the weather. It melts during the day and freezes again during the night. As a result, it is easy to walk on.

The doctor ordered me not to walk briskly let alone ski for a week when I saw her on Tuesday. I hope the weather will remain favorable for going skiing this spring. I'd say late winter, though, because March is still late winter, IMO.

I'm not entirely sure people still live in that old house.

The same trail as in one of the previous photos. A lot of needles on the tracks.

Probably some skier's car.
