On the Federal Reserve side of this equation we can see that Powell made some more hawkish statements that have spooked traders a bit. "More aggressive rate hikes". Yeah... good luck with that. Something is going to break and whatever it is, it's going to be worse than "inflation".

I vaguely recall Kathie Wood talking something about pension funds getting in trouble if the stock market gets hammered much worse than it already has. Something is definitely going to break. The USA will last longer than Europe. The eurozone, where the ECB is also tightening pretty aggressively will break sooner, I think.
