More than 20 years ago, remembering is living... Ladies of Hive Community Contest #104
Saludos mis amigos de hive, espero que estén bien, un nuevo concurso que nos traen las damas de hive, Ladies of Hive Community Contest #104, para esta semana debemos hacer uso de nuestra memoria jaja, e irnos un poco al pasado, como recordar es vivir será un gusto compartir con todos, algunas cosas que hacía antes y como lo comparo, con el mundo de hoy.
Greetings my hive friends, I hope you are well, a new contest brought to us by the ladies of hive,[Ladies of Hive Community Contest #104](https://hive.blog/hive-124452/@ladiesofhive/ladies-of -hive-community-contest-104), for this week we must make use of our memory haha, and go back a bit to the past, as remembering is living, it will be a pleasure to share with everyone, some things I did before and how I compare it, with today's world.
Me divertí mucho cuando empecé a recordar tantas cosas, definitivamente es muy bonito traer a mi mente aquellos tiempos, que son inolvidables, comienzo con contarles que hace más de 20 años por allá, en la época de los 90, una de las cosas que más me gustaba hacer en mi tiempo libre era ir al cine, y en mi país, Venezuela, podíamos ver las películas que presentaban en las salas de cine en el periódico, había un cuerpo especialmente destinado a mostrar las películas en estreno, recuerdo que era el cuerpo C, arte y entretenimiento jaja, lo primero que hacía cuando mi mamá comparaba el periódico, era sacar el cuerpo C y ver que películas estarían dando durante algunas semanas semanas, y tampoco me perdía el horóscopo jaja.
I had a lot of fun when I began to remember so many things, it is definitely very nice to bring to my mind those times, which are unforgettable, I begin by telling you that more than 20 years ago, in the 90's, one of the things that most I liked to do in my free time was to go to the movies, and in my country, Venezuela, we could see the films that were shown in the movie theaters in the newspaper, there was a body specially destined to show the films in premiere, I remember that it was the body C, art and entertainment haha, the first thing I did when my mom compared the newspaper was take out body C and see what movies would be showing for a few weeks, and I didn't miss the horoscope either haha.
Ir al cine era todo un acontecimiento, era el lugar de encuentro perfecto con los compañeros de clases, además también recuerdo que en la sala de cine era el único lugar donde podíamos ver los tráiler de las películas que estaban por estrenarse, por eso me gustaba llegar temprano, para entrar a tiempo en la sala y poder ver los tráiler jajaja.
Going to the cinema was an event, it was the perfect meeting place with classmates, and I also remember that the movie theater was the only place where we could see the trailers of the films that were about to be released, that's why I liked it arrive early, to enter the room on time and be able to see the trailers hahaha.
En la actualidad, debo decir que casi no voy al cine, aunque es una de mis cosas favoritas por hacer, tengo mucho tiempo que no voy, existen muchas razone por las cuales ya no frecuento la salas de cine, primero la inseguridad, han ocurrido robos durante las funciones, y eso me asusta un poco, segundo, lo costoso que resulta ir a un cine, necesitas por lo menos 20$ para poder ir con otra persona y disfrutar de tu película con tu combo de cotufas y refresco. Me gustan los cambios, que el mundo evolucione, pero creo que lo que más afecta ha afectado al negocio del cine, ha sido la situación económica a la que nos hemos enfrentado por largos años., la verdad si me gustaría volver al cine, así que, uno de estos días me decido, ahorro y voy jajaja.
At present, I must say that I hardly go to the cinema, although it is one of my favorite things to do, I have not gone for a long time, there are many reasons why I no longer go to the cinema, first of all insecurity, they have happened robberies during performances, and that scares me a little, second, how expensive it is to go to a movie theater, you need at least $20 to be able to go with another person and enjoy your movie with your combo of popcorn and soda. I like changes, that the world evolves, but I think that what has affected the film business the most has been the economic situation that we have faced for many years, the truth is, I would like to return to the cinema, like this that, one of these days I decide, save and go hahaha.
La parte positiva, es que ahora existen muchas plataformas en las que podemos ver las películas, en la comodidad de nuestro hogar, y no sale tan costoso, entre mis favoritas esta Netflix, Disney y HBO, y los tráiler los podemos buscar rápidamente por YouTube, menos complicado todo.
The positive part is that now there are many platforms where we can watch movies, in the comfort of our home, and it is not so expensive, among my favorites is Netflix, Disney and HBO, and the trailers can be quickly searched on YouTube , everything less complicated.
Otra cosa que cambio de manera drástica, ya era el año 2000 pero aun en mi caso, tenia un tel3fono Nokia, no había Internet, y el juego más codiciado era el de la serpiente 🐍 Snake jaja, esa era la distracción, no existía Facebook, ni Instagram, nada de esas redes sociales, recuerdo que hasta hacíamos torneos a ver quien tenía el mejor récord jajaja, diversión pura. En la actualidad hay un sin fin de juegos que podemos descargar en nuestros teléfonos inteligentes.
Another thing that changed drastically, it was already the year 2000 but even in my case, I had a Nokia phone, there was no Internet, and the most coveted game was snake 🐍 Snake haha, that was the distraction, there was no Facebook , nor Instagram, none of those social networks, I remember that we even had tournaments to see who had the best record hahaha, pure fun. Currently there are endless games that we can download on our smartphones.
Definitivamente los tiempos han cambiado, hemos evolucionado, pero estos recuerdos que aquellas épocas quedarán en mi memoria, creo que fueron tiempos de oro, en la actualidad el internet se ha apoderado de todo, y las cosas no son tan divertidas como antes, y como dije al principio siempre será muy bonito y di errado recordar tales épocas.
Definitely times have changed, we have evolved, but these memories that those times will remain in my memory, I think they were golden times, nowadays the internet has taken over everything, and things are not as fun as before, and as I said at the beginning it will always be very beautiful and I was wrong to remember such times.

going to the cinema these recent years isn't as appealing as it was before because like you said, we can access films in the comfort of our homes through different channels (Netflix etc). But I believe you can still go to the cinema once in a while :)

That's right @ifarmgirl I'm thinking of going to the movies, when I have to take my daughter, who has never been because of her age.

No longer living in a safe country to go out at night one understands the yearning for yesteryear, ticket prices are expensive, but safety comes first.
Gaming on phones we never really enjoyed, pin ball machines (earlier times) were a great form of entertainment, then along came more sophisticated digital games in arcades in big towns which did not last long either.
So my friend, safety comes first, I want to go back to the movies, to take my daughter, but it will be in the afternoon.
I miss those games haha, they were so much fun.

Afternoon show here is normally abuzz with parents taking the little ones, quite often small group of friends with one or two parents for birthday parties.
Oh, that Nokia. I bet its battery would still last for a few days hahaha. the snake game 😂 those were the times :D

Going to my local Cinema complex is a special occasion. More like an entertainment complex encompassing dining at a restaurant, playing Video and computer games, and the like before or after watching a movie. Sure a lot more than just taking in a movie with friends.💛
