Greetings moms and dads, from hive, I hope you are doing very well, the new school year has begun and with it come new experiences and challenges to meet with our children, for some, as is my case, we are entering a new stage, and I think that this weekly challenge that the @motherhood team does not propose is perfect, so we can learn from other parents, their techniques and ideas so that our little ones learn to read, of course I share my entry, in which I talk about some methods that We are using it at home to teach my little Micaela to read.
Micaela went to first grade, and we also changed her school, they were two big changes, even so, thank God we have been adapting well, the first thing Micaela told me after the first week of classes is that in first grade, they don't have as much fun as in kindergarten and they do a lot of homework hahaha, he also told me that I should learn to read quickly because there were two children in his classroom who almost knew how to read hahaha, so we have put more effort into the hours of practice, in terms of reading.
There are many things that our children have to learn when they reach first grade, even though they have already seen the first things in preschool, when they reach first grade, everything seems new, one of the things that helps us the most when it comes to To teach our children to read, they are good practice books for reading. When Mica was in third grade, we bought her the book, which is called: My Garden, a very famous book here in Venezuela. The strategy we used with Mica has been to highlight the letters or sounds that she is learning, since Micaela knows the vowels and the alphabet, we are at the level of teaching sounds, and joining them to form the word, we are also working a lot With dictation, I think practice is essential, if you don't forget it quickly.
Another technique that we have used is that when we are doing homework, we play a small game, in which Micaela is the teacher and we, the parents, are the students, then, she must repeat what we have taught her in the day's lesson, we buy her a blackboard and there Mica gives us the tasks, she is having fun and is learning and reviewing her lesson at the same time, it is very easy for children to get bored in this process so we must look for ways to make it more fun.
Another thing that the teacher recommended to us, and that she told us that she was going to implement in the classroom, is that we show the child a drawing from the book, and then ask what they understood in the drawing, if it is possible that they give us a brief We summarize and then we dictate to her what she understood, so that she also writes it down, and becomes more familiar with the letters. It is also a way for children to learn to interpret on their own and work alone.

Saludos mamis y papis, de hive, espero que esten muy bien, el nuevo año escolar comenzó y con él vienen, nuevas experiencias y retos que cumplir con nuestros hijos, para algunos, como es mi caso estamos entrando en una nueva etapa, y pienso que este reto semanal que no propone el equipo de @motherhood está perfecto, asà podremos aprender de otros padres, sus técnicas e ideas para que nuestros pequeños aprendan a leer, por supuesto les comparto mi entrada, en la que les hablo de algunos métodos que estamos usando en casa para enseñar leer a mi pequeña Micaela.
Micaela paso para primer grado, y además la cambiamos de colegio, fueron dos cambios fuertes, aún asÃ, gracias a Dios nos hemos ido adaptando de buena manera, lo primero que me dijo Micaela después de la primera semana de clases, es, que en primer grado, no se divierten tanto como en el kinder y hacen muchas tarea jajaj, tambien me dijo que debÃa aprender a leer rápido porque habÃan dos niños en su salón que ya casi sabÃan leer ajjaja, asà que hemos puesto más empeño en las horas de práctica, en cuanto a la lectura.
Son muchas cosas que tienen que aprender nuestros niños cuando llegan a primer grado, a pesar de que ya han visto las primera cosas en el preescolar, cuando llegan a primer grado, todo parece nuevo, una de las cosas que más nos ayudan a la hora de enseñar a leer a nuestro hijos, son los buenos libros de práctica para la lectura, cuando Mica estaba en tercer nivel, le compramos el libro, que tiene por nombre: Mi jardÃn, un libro muy famoso aca en Venezuela. La estrategia que usamos con Mica, ha sido, resaltar las letras o los sonidos que está aprendiendo, ya Micaela sabe las vocales y el abecedario, estamos en en nivel de enseñar sonidos, y que los una para formar la palabra, también estamos trabajando mucho con el dictado, creo que la práctica es fundamental, si no lo olvidan rápido.
Otra técnica que hemos usado, es que cuando estamos haciendo tareas, hacemos un pequeño juego, en el que Micaela es la maestra y nosotros los padres los alumnos, entonces, ella debe repetir lo que le hemos enseñado en la lección del dÃa, le compramos una pizarra y ahà Mica nos pone las tareas, ella se divierte y está aprendiendo y repasando su lección al mismo tiempo, es muy fácil que los niños se aburran en este proceso por eso debemos buscar las maneras de hacerlo más divertido.
Otra cosa que nos recomendó la maestra, y que nos dijo que iba a implementar en el salón de clases, es que le mostremos al niño un dibujo del libro, y luego preguntemos que entendieron en el dibujo, si es posible que nos hagan un breve resumen y luego le dictamos lo que ella entendió, para que también lo escriba, y se vaya familiarizando más con las letras, también es una manera de que los niños aprendan a interpretar por sus propios medios y a trabajar solos.

Felicidades, es usted muy aplicada con su pequeña, me gusto mucho el método de colocarse en la posición de alumnos y dejar que su hija sea quien enseñe, digno de replicar, eso trajo a mi memoria que una de las formas mas efectivas de fijar la información en nuestras mentes es enseñandola o en otras palabras, compartiéndola.
Hola amigo, en casa tratamos siempre de que se cumplan los hoararios de las tareas, aunque a veces es un pco dificil, pues como mencione, los niños se aburren muy rápido, por eso optamos por la técnica del juego y ser nosotros los alumnos, nos ha funcionado, espero que siga siendo asi jaja.
