Greetings and blessings, dear Hive community, welcome to my blog. This week's questions for the @LadiesofHive community quiz #292 were submitted by @elizabethbit.

1- Si un genio mágico pudiera concederte un (y sólo uno) deseo, ¿cuál sería ese deseo y por qué?
Se me hace muy difícil imiginar un solo deseo, mucho más pedirlo, hay tantas carencias en el mundo, pero me inclino por desear eliminar la pobreza, creo que vivimos en un mundo poco equitativo en cuanto a la repartición de los recursos, unos tienen mucho, otros tienen algo y hay quienes no tienen nada se me hace injusto esta desigualdad, la pobreza es una condición que no distingue edad aunque los más vulnerables siempre serán los niños y ancianos, pediría a ese genio mejorar ese aspecto y cambiar esa situación social con un acceso real y justo a políticas que cambien la situación económica a quienes viven en estado precario.

>1- If a magic genie could grant you one — and only one — wish, what would that wish be, and why?
It's very difficult for me to imagine a single wish, much less ask for one. There are so many needs in the world, but I'm inclined to wish to eliminate poverty. I think we live in a world that's far from equitable in terms of resource distribution. Some have a lot, others have something, and some have nothing. I find this inequality unjust. Poverty is a condition that doesn't discriminate by age, although the most vulnerable will always be children and the elderly. I would ask that genie to improve this situation and change this social reality with real and fair access to policies that improve the economic circumstances of those living in precarious conditions.

2- Verano, estación seca, estación húmeda u otoño: ¿qué es lo que más le gusta de la temporada actual en su país y/o lo que más le desagrada de ella?
Venezuela es un país Sudaméricano donde solo se dan dos estaciones invierno y verano con un clima cálido y tropical.
Sequía y humedad dos estaciones muy diferentes cada una tiene sus dificultades y sus atributos, no significa que no se valla a ver lluvia en verano o fuerte sol en pleno invierno, tenemos un clima muy variante, aquí el calor es parejo y continuo durante todo el año., claro con las lluvias baja un poco la temperatura.
A finales de abril y comienzo de mayo comienza el invierno, lluvias fuertes, torrenciales aguaceros, se me hace muy oportuna su llegada porque son los meses más calurosos del año, donde el sol y las altas temperaturas no nos dan tregua, los incendios forestales están a la orden del día, llega ese alivio, la naturaleza en su máxima expresión recordandonos que vienen cambios los campos reverdesen y los incendios quedan atrás.

>2- Summer, dry season, wet season, or fall — what is your favorite thing about
the current season in your country and/or the thing you dislike the most about it?
Venezuela is a South American country with only two seasons: winter and summer, and a warm, tropical climate. Drought and humidity are two very different seasons, each with its own challenges and characteristics. This doesn't mean there won't be rain in summer or intense sun in the middle of winter; we have a very variable climate. Here, the heat is consistent and continuous throughout the year, although the rains do lower the temperature a bit. Winter begins in late April and early May, bringing heavy rains and torrential downpours. I find its arrival very timely because these are the hottest months of the year, when the sun and high temperatures offer no respite. Forest fires are commonplace, and then comes the relief: nature at its most vibrant, reminding us that changes are coming. The fields turn green again, and the fires are a thing of the past.

El invierno con todas sus consecuencias es mi época favorita, amo ese olor a tierra mojada de las primeras lluvias, siento que se limpia el aire, la tierra se fertiliza, ocurre una transformación real para las plantas, la vegetación empieza a crecer, el clima se vuelve más fresco, me da sensación de prosperidad, se ven las flores, los frutos en los jardines, huertos y campos las esperanzas vuelven a renacer.

Winter, with all its consequences, is my favorite time of year. I love that smell of wet earth from the first rains. I feel the air being cleansed, the earth being fertilized, a real transformation happening for the plants, the vegetation starting to grow, the weather becoming cooler, it gives me a feeling of prosperity, the flowers and fruits appear in the gardens, orchards and fields, and hopes are reborn.
