Greetings esteemed Hive community, welcome to my participation in the @LadiesofHive Community Contest #285: questions for this week by the lady @merit.ahama.

1- ¿Cuál es un libro, vídeo de YouTube, película o lección de vida sobre el autodesarrollo que realmente le ha impactado? Podría tratarse de habilidades, dinero, propósito, relaciones, salud o crecimiento personal. Comparte lo que te enseñó y por qué lo recomendarías a otros.
Los 7 hábitos de los adolescentes altamente efectivos de Sean Covey, un libro que compre para mi hijo menor cuando estudiaba 4to año de bachillerato, fue exigido por uno de sus profesores, no estoy segura si lo leyeron e hicieron reflexionas sobre sus contenido.
En los tiempos de pandemia lo tenía en la biblioteca y empecé a leerlo, realmente es un libro de crecimiento personal que me ha gustado mucho, un manual para la autoestima y el éxito, este libro avarca las situaciones más difíciles y decisivas de un adolescente, les da las herramientas necesarias para organizarse, tomar mejores decisiones para construir la vida que quiere vivir.
Son siete lecciones que nos habla sobre la importancia de adquirir buenos hábitos, el pensar ganar, ganar, busca primero entender y luego ser entendido la importancia de tomar buenas decisiones, la necesidad de hacer equipo para lograr un buen equilibrio y como tienen en sus manos su propio destino.

1-.What is one book, YouTube video, movie, or life lesson on self-development that has truly impacted you? It could be about skills, money, purpose, relationships, health, or personal growth. Share what it taught you and why you would recommend it to others.
Sean Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, a book I bought for my youngest son when he was in his junior year of high school, was required reading by one of his teachers. I'm not sure if they actually read it and reflected on its content. During the pandemic, I had it in my library and started reading it. It's truly a personal growth book that I really enjoyed, a guide to self-esteem and success. This book covers the most difficult and decisive situations a teenager faces, giving them the necessary tools to get organized, make better decisions, and build the life they want to live. It contains seven lessons that address the importance of acquiring good habits, the win-win mindset, seeking first to understand and then to be understood, the importance of making good decisions, the need to work as a team to achieve a good balance, and how they hold their own destiny in their hands.

2- Right now in your life, what feels like your main reason for living?
How would you describe your purpose at this moment, and what keeps you moving forward each day?
I have many reasons to live, starting with the fact that I have a wonderful God who gave me life, filled me with blessings, and made me exist. For me, simply existing is a reason to live. I live for my family, the fundamental base of society, the ones who sustain me. They give me reasons to laugh, to be happy, and to want to get up every day with hope and gratitude. My reasons for living are endless and simple, like enjoying a delicious coffee, feeling connected to nature, having people to share a conversation with, an afternoon dancing with my granddaughter, talking with my siblings, helping someone in need, witnessing a sunset, being mesmerized by the sea, the arrival of night and admiring an illuminated sky, that smell of damp earth that reminds me of my essence, and many other things that make me believe life has meaning, and I have more than enough reasons to live it. I believe my purpose in life is to live, to live consciously, purposefully, in presence, in acceptance, with gratitude, with values, learning from every circumstance, from disappointments, from pain, from falls, always acting from understanding, compassion and not from anger; purposes evolve with us and do not always have to be tangible.

2- En este momento de tu vida, ¿cuál crees que es tu principal razón para vivir? ¿Cómo describirías tu propósito en este momento y qué te mantiene avanzando cada día?
Razones para vivir tengo muchas empezando porque tengo un Dios maravilloso que me dió la vida, me llenó de bendiciones, me hizo existir y existir para mi ya es una razón para vivir, vivir por mi familia la base fundamental de la sociedad la que me sostiene, me dan motivos para reír, para ser feliz y querer levantarme cada día con mucha esperanza y gratitud.
Mis razones para vivir son infinitas y sencillas como disfrutar de un delicioso café, sentir el contacto con la naturaleza, tener personas con quien compartir una conversación, una tarde bailando con mi nieta, hablar con mis hermanos, ayudar a alguien que está en apuros, presenciar una puesta de sol, hipnotizarme ante la presencia del mar, la llegada de la noche y admirar un cielo iluminado, ese olor a tierra mojada que me recuerda mi esencia y otras muchas cosas más que me hacen creer que la vida tiene sentido y a mi me sobran motivos para en ella.
Creo que mi propósito en la vida es vivir, vivir con conciencia, con propósito, en presencia, en aceptación, con gratitud, con valores, aprendiendo de cada circunstancia de las decepciones, del dolor, de las caídas, de actuar siempre desde la comprensión, compasión y no desde del enojo, los propósitos evolucionan con nosotros y no siempre tienen que ser tangibles.
