DAILY LIFE OF 4K & SUNSHINE

Hi guys today I want to share you a funny vibe story about two of my children Sunshine & 4K , actually this daily life of them based on my experiences to keep my Tortoise stay healthy. So I guess this might usefull to you to and also this can apply to any reptile thats till based or fueled with solar energy. This post would bring you some insight too, I guess this kind of style of mine will stand for a little bit awhile. Some people around me asking me why I picked Tortoise as a pet, it doesn't ake any sound, it doesn't povide any protection, it can't fly blablblab this that..well, I tell you my friend it offers you friend for a LIFETIME. In certain way it possessed hope to keep living, I know the cliche won't do anything in reality terms but it takes a good place, positive place in our brain to understand the harmony.

Good morning everyone !!! 4k and Sunshine are about to tell you something good. Okay my must have daily routine started with basking them under the sun to make sure they poop and to check the feces frequently. Yes guys, in order to keep your Reptile healthy you have to see it by yourself what happened inside them. You have to do the "medical" check as detail as you can, remember guys they cannot scream for hep even if they on the massive pain. Personally I check them all out from feces, carrapace, feet, eyes and nose make sure everything is okay. At the first so many people (beginner) asking me why the nails are broken, guys listen to me... if the nails breaks it is a sign your Tortoise is healthy, which mean he active digging or any activty using the foot. Its okay, I understand your concern but heyyy it means you are a good keeper.😀😅😁

This is them pooping while I bask them in the morning under the sun. REMEMBER best time to put them under the sun is between 7am to 10am the UVB still works properly and the UVC haven't showed up yet. I usually use a warm water too so they dont get shock everytime I put them in the water. Every wednesday and Friday I put electrolyte to the water just in case they've got dehydrate, it also contain with multivitamin and probiotic.

This might be help you if you looking for a straight direction. This going to make them stay hydrate and clean belly without worry about over vitamin or anything like that. This sounds perfect as natural as it can be in terms of food and nutrition. But for extra info, Sunshine won't go near the veggies or any wild plant IF I PUT PELLET at the same time. He going to crave the pellet and forget about any green. So I guess you have to keep in mind. For me I always feed them twice a day, breakfast with natural food and dinner with pellets.

As you can see thats how the healthy feces look like after he tried to to do jog in the water 🤣. The morning going to look good as you can witness [🤧🤢😷]. Also you can check from it the amount of food he ate last night. Sunshine move a lot during the sunbath but not in stressed way, he moves a lot so he can reach me. How cute is that 😄. Sunshine don't really drinks the water when I basked him unlike 4K who always drinks while the basking time. I know right, thats cute.

Right after the basking time over I put them on the more dry area so they can play around, moving a leg and they can also have a different or new area so they able to do the animal instinc. In this part of activity 4K always seems try to eat a wild grass, and Sunshine always go under my squat. 4k seems want to explore the area by sniffing this and then eating this, while Sunshine seems want to be a daddy kid. I still don't understand when they say "you slow as turtle" like OMG wether Tortoise or Turtle they moves so fast unless they sick.

As you can see they always tend to have a taste of a wild grass, sometimes they just a bunch of animal who have this enormous curiosity even though its sign of healthy Tortoise but I fear they eat a small stone or even sharp glass or something. The funny part of this is 4K like to eats what Shunsine often eats, it was hilarious when 4k act like a little brother to him. They never go slow down at the morning, they always looking for something, 4k in other hand seems little bit tired for couples of day, but he comeback strongger after a couple of cactus and little bit of probiotic, yeah he had this digesting problem for awhile but after I checked him on the vet she said everything going to be okay. He just need more green on his diet.

For you guys who thinks like "ohh so they gave you little bit of work huh ?" then my answer is yes. This does put a lot extra work, extra time, and extra care. Maybe this sound so way over the top but this Indian Star Tortoise, this Geochelone Elegans is one of the hardest to keep. Its not as Tough as Aldabra, not so independent as Radiata and also not so active as Sulcata. We have to use our own intuition to keep them alive, thats why I SALUTE you Star Tortoise keeper in Europe or America or any country that has winter, because I know the struggle and I know it never come easy peasy. They are loving animal, quite, and silent but they gives us a true natural beauty kind of sight everytime we look at them. They come as good as the nature can be, if you use the poop to the plant it will provide the plant extra nutrition. I know its hard to swallow because considering the amount of feces not come as big as we think it is, you have to gather a ton of star Tortoises to have a good proportion fertilizer.

AS A JOKE OKAY, AS A JOKE. Im not feeding him a chilli pepper, I just want to make it more funny to watch, Im not that dumb.. even though sometimes I really want to try LOL. JOKE. STILL JOKE. I also plant a couple of green and veggies way before I have this tortoise, and I check the plant, and all of sudden I saw this pepper laying on the ground so I picked it up, phone in my hand., so I make the Joke. 4K and Sunshine often to play around rough to each other Sunshine seems to be a dominator in this case, he often climb 4K carapace too often. Those child bully eachother but still sleeps together in the cave that I gave to them. They really are cute.

Oh ya guys, this list that I've made 7 years ago still Legit until this day. Even I already have a new Tortoises but I still use it and this still works everytime. Hope this can help you out and hope this able to help.
