Playing GameCube Mario Kart Double Dash! [ENG/ESP]
Greetings to the Hive gamer community!
In this opportunity I want to share with you my experience testing and playing in the Dolphin emulator for Windows video games of the Nintendo GameCube console, running in this case the Mario Kart Double Dash released for that console in 2003. Personally I have been very surprised with both the performance and graphics level of the emulator, being for me was a great experiment that certainly was very satisfied. Next I will tell you a little more about my opinions about the title, let's begin...

En esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes mi experiencia probando y jugando en el emulador Dolphin para Windows videojuegos de la consola Nintendo GameCube, corriendo en este caso el Mario Kart Double Dash lanzado para dicha consola en el año 2003. En lo personal he quedado muy sorprendido tanto con el rendimiento y nivel gráfico del emulador, siendo para mi fue un gran experimento del que sin duda quede muy satisfecho. Gameplay | Jugabilidad🎮
Being one of the best known franchises of kart video games this title does not vary in the least its gameplay, that is to say that if you have played any version of Mario Kart this will not be a problem at all. We have the opportunity to play with up to 4 players in local multiplayer split screen and as a novelty I should mention that in this title we can change characters in the race something that makes it even more fun.
Al tratarse de una de las franquicias mas conocida de videojuegos de Karts este titulo no varia en lo mas mínimo su jugabilidad, es decir que si has jugado alguna versión de Mario Kart este no será un problema en lo absoluto. Tenemos la oportunidad de jugar hasta con 4 jugadores en multijugador local pantalla dividida y como novedad debo mencionar que en este titulo podemos intercambiar de personajes en la carrera algo que lo hace aun mas divertido.
Graphics | Gráficos🎮
Originally this title being from 2003 presented a great graphical advance for its time, but today it has aged to the point of no longer being very attractive visually if we talk about running it on the original Nintendo GameCube console and this is where the magic of emulators comes into play. Dolphin Emulator really makes a total remastering in the graphics of the title, improving not only its color but also textures and pixel smoothing that makes the game look beautiful compared to its original version.
Originalmente este titulo al ser del año 2003 presento un gran avance grafico para su época, pero a día de hoy ha envejecido a tal punto de ya no ser muy atractivo visualmente si hablamos de ejecutarlo en la consola original de Nintendo GameCube y aquí es donde entra en juego la magia de los emuladores. Dolphin Emulator realmente hace una remasterización total en los gráficos del titulo, mejorando no solo su color sino también texturas y suavizado de pixeles que hace que el juego se vea hermoso en comparación a su versión original.

If we talk about the performance of the title within the emulator is really amazing, you can get to run the game in resolutions up to 4K at 60 FPS something impossible if we played it on the original console limited to 30 FPS. In my case I ran the game in a resolution of 1080P 60 FPS and without a doubt I felt like I was running a more current video game.
Si hablamos del rendimiento del titulo dentro del emulador es realmente sorprendente, se puede llegar a correr el videojuego en resoluciones de hasta 4K a 60 FPS algo imposible si lo jugáramos en la consola original limitada a 30 FPS. En mi caso corrí el juego en una resolución de 1080P 60 FPS y sin duda me sentí como si estuviera corriendo un videojuego mas actual.

Personally I found it to be an incredible and very fun title. Its gameplay is ideal for anyone and I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try it. It maintains the classic gameplay with 3 levels of difficulty making it more and more competitive, besides being able to play it with up to 4 friends locally (fully compatible with the emulator) gives it a plus for all lovers of the saga who want to have fun with their friends.

En lo personal me pareció un titulo increíble y muy divertido. Su modo de juego es ideal para cualquier persona y sin duda se lo recomiendo a quien desee probarlo. Mantiene el modo de juego clásico con 3 niveles de dificultad haciéndolo cada vez mas competitivo, además de poder jugarlo hasta con 4 amigos de manera local (totalmente compatible con el emulador) le aporta un plus para todo amante de la saga que busque divertirse con sus amigos.

This is a really fun game, I played it on the Wii of my cousin. It amazes me how Dolphin makes its graphics look like a remaster.
Yes, the emulator really makes the game look very good!!
I haven't tried the Dolphin emulator yet but Double Dash is still my favorite Mario Kart game. I think it's because it was the first Mario Kart game I really played and the follow-up on the Wii wasn't really better (and even worse in my opinion if you didn't have a classic controller).
I actually found this title even more fun than the Nintendo Ds version, which was the one I was able to try at the time. If you have the opportunity to try the emulator I highly recommend it!
