Cultivar el hábito de la lectura es como crear una entrada equivalente a la de una mina de piedras preciosas; en la medida que nos sumerjamos en la aventura de leer vamos a encontrar infinidad de palabras desconocidas, que nos impiden la debida comprensión.
Y como el minero busca la herramienta adecuada para ir abriendo brechas, así el diccionario para el lector, muestra los diferentes significados de las palabras que dan sentido completo al texto, al mismo tiempo nuestro hablar adquiere una maravillosa y simple capacidad de transmitir con facilidad lo que queremos.
En nuestro idioma Español, hablando de las naciones hispanas, tenemos profundas riquezas. Sinónimos, antónimos e innumerables recursos literarios a los que podemos acudir para pulir nuestra lengua. Todo este arsenal de palabras nos enseña a comunicarnos de manera correcta para hacernos entender con claridad.
Para que el mensaje que queremos proyectar no sea distorsionado es necesario conocer el concepto de cada palabra que usamos, por ello el diccionario es un medio muy importante a la hora de proponernos mejorar nuestro lenguaje hablado y escrito, este nos guía a usar correctamente las palabras que enlazan y le dan propósito al tema a tratar.
Por ejemplo, no es igual usar abrazar que abrasar, como ven son dos palabras que se escriben diferentes únicamente por una letra, suenan igual pero tienen distinto significado. Muchas veces he oído decir a los chinos que el español es el idioma más difícil de aprender, pero no creo que sea así sino que requiere más tiempo de estudio por su gran complejidad gramatical. Por lo que ese libro que contiene toda esa gama de vocablos es muy útil para adquirir mayor conocimiento, en la mayoría de los idiomas hay uno disponible.

Cultivating the habit of reading is like creating an entrance equivalent to that of a mine of precious stones; as we immerse ourselves in the adventure of reading we will find an infinity of unknown words that prevent us from understanding.
And as the miner looks for the right tool to open gaps, so the dictionary for the reader, shows the different meanings of the words that give full meaning to the text, at the same time our speech acquires a wonderful and simple ability to easily convey what we want.
In our Spanish language, speaking of the Hispanic nations, we have deep riches. Synonyms, antonyms and countless literary resources to which we can turn to polish our language. All this arsenal of words teaches us to communicate in the right way to make ourselves clearly understood.
So that the message we want to project is not distorted, it is necessary to know the concept of each word we use, that is why the dictionary is a very important means when we want to improve our spoken and written language, it guides us to correctly use the words that link and give purpose to the topic to be discussed.
For example, it is not the same to use embrace as to embrace, as you can see they are two words that are written differently only by one letter, they sound the same but have different meanings. Many times I have heard Chinese people say that Spanish is the most difficult language to learn, but I don't think it is so, I think it requires more time to study because of its great grammatical complexity. So that book that contains all that range of words is very useful to acquire more knowledge, in most languages there is one available.
