A purposeful family outing [Eng/Esp]

I was happy to have my mom at home today; I hadn't planned on going out, but she asked me to accompany her to buy a few things she needed. So, I got my daughters ready and we walked to the city center, where I spotted two plants that caught my eye.

They grew on the wall, far from any water, and they are beautiful; one is called Tulip, and I don't remember the name of the other. I continued on my way, and we arrived at the agricultural supply store to buy a fruit picker.

Since my mom has avocados at her house and plans to pick them from high up using this device, all that's left is to attach a long pole to it, and it's ready to go. It’s a very useful tool for keeping the fruit from getting damaged; it’s going to be a big help...

My mom also bought "Triple 15"—a fertilizer applied to the plant's roots and mixed with the soil—which helps the plant grow and look beautiful. I also took the opportunity to ask about an insecticide to get rid of a type of bug known as a chinche (stink bug), since the two products I previously bought haven't been as effective as I’d hoped.

The salesperson told me about Deltrac Plus and how it affects the insect, so I plan to buy it next time. It is worth noting that to exterminate this pest, other measures are also necessary—such as washing clothes in hot water, vacuuming, and using steam to kill them—since the insect cannot withstand high temperatures.

We left there and headed to a hardware store to buy some wire; once we had everything we needed, we went home, as lunchtime was approaching. And with that, I’ll sign off until next time...
