La familia Soto, la cual estaba conformada por mamá, papa, y 5 hijos. Vivían en un pueblo muy lejos detrás de las montañas. Eran muy felices. Sus hijos aparentemente sanos. Criados con los valores necesarios y bien fortalecidos para poder tener una sana convivencia. Los niños iban al campo a trabajar en sus horas libres después que regresaban de la escuela. La señora Ingrid Soto había tenido un parto de gemelos, eran sus últimos hijos. Los gemelos tenían 5 años, se llamaban Abraham y Jacob. Sus otros hijos tenían 6, 8 y 9 respectivamente. Correteaban por los maizales y por los caminos que conducían a su casa. Era una familia muy unida y feliz.
Uno de los gemelos, Jacob, empezó a enfermar. Sus padres angustiados decidieron llevarlo al centro de salud más cercano. El médico indicó tratamiento y no dio un diagnóstico. Jacob no mejoraba. Cada día empeoraba más. Sus padres decidieron llevarlo a la capital. Ellos tenían una casa muy cómoda y se la cuidaba la hermana menor de la señora Ingrid. Y todos viajaron a la capital atender la salud de Jacob. La señora Ingrid lloraba inconsolablemente. Sentía que su hijo se moría y se le escapaba de sus manos no poder hacer nada. Estaba dispuesta a dar su vida por la de su hijo. Jacob empezó a inflamarse y a no poder orinar. Sus pies estaban muy hinchados a tal punto que se le dificultaba caminar.
Ya instalado Jacob en la clínica empezaron ha realizarle exámenes. Detectando una insuficiencia renal severa. Cuando la señora Ingrid le dio el médico, la noticia se arrojó al piso y pidió a Dios que la ayudara a sanar a su hijo. Solo un trasplante, dijo el médico, sería posible que Jacob siguiera viviendo de una manera normal. Por el momento será sometido a diálisis hasta que aparezca el donante del riñón.
La señora Ingrid converso con el médico y le dijo:-la vida de mi hijo es primero, por él soy capaz de dar la mía. Si mi hijo necesita un trasplante de riñón, seré la primera en someterme a esas pruebas para ver si hay compatibilidad para yo donarle un riñón. No quiero que mi hijo sea sometido a tanta diálisis. Así que prepare todo para realizar las pruebas de compatibilidad. En menos de un mes ya tenían los resultados. Efectivamente, la señora Ingrid era candidata para donar el riñón a su hijo. Cambio completamente su semblante. Enseguida se realizaron los preparativos para que se practicara el trasplante.
Llego el gran día. La señora Ingrid y su esposo estaban felices, iban a poder tener a su hijo nuevamente en casa. Jacob fue trasplantado. Fue un éxito la operación. Paso una semana hospitalizado. Ingrid se recuperó rápidamente. Regresaron a casa. Jacob no le hicieron más diálisis. Se sentía en familia mucha unión familiar y celebraron la pronta recuperación de Jacob. Ingrid le dio gracias a Dios porque pudo donar el riñón a su hijo y le salvo su vida. Ella sostenía que las madres somos capaces de arriesgar todo por sus hijos.

She felt that her son was dying and it was beyond her power to do anything. She was willing to give her life for her son's life. Jacob began to swell and was unable to urinate. His feet were swollen to the point that it was difficult for him to walk.
Once Jacob was installed in the clinic, they began to perform tests. They detected a severe renal insufficiency. When Mrs. Ingrid gave the doctor the news, she threw herself to the floor and asked God to help her to heal her son. Only a transplant, the doctor said, would make it possible for Jacob to continue living in a normal way. For the time being he will be on dialysis until a kidney donor is found.
Mrs. Ingrid talked to the doctor and told him: "My son's life comes first, for him I am able to give my own. If my son needs a kidney transplant, I will be the first to undergo these tests to see if there is a match for me to donate a kidney. I don't want my son to undergo so much dialysis. So I prepared everything to do the compatibility tests. Within a month they had the results. Indeed, Mrs. Ingrid was a candidate to donate the kidney to her son. Her countenance changed completely. Immediately the preparations were made for the transplant to take place.
The big day arrived. Mrs. Ingrid and her husband were happy, they were going to be able to have their son at home again. Jacob was transplanted. The operation was a success. He spent a week in the hospital. Ingrid recovered quickly. They returned home. Jacob was no longer on dialysis. There was a lot of family togetherness and they celebrated Jacob's speedy recovery. Ingrid thanked God that she was able to donate her son's kidney and save his life. She maintained that mothers are capable of risking everything for their children.

At first I was feeling sad of Jacob's health, mother's are saviour, a mother is ready to go through hell for the safety of a child, Mrs. Ingrid donate a kidney to save Jacob, I love the ending, a complete family was there.
