Feliz día lunes de aguja amigos de @needleworkmonday, espero tengan un excelente inicio de semana. Estuve arreglando un poco mis telas guardadas para desarme de muchos retacitos que guardo y luego sé que no voy a utilizar y me encontré con un retazo de RIB en color vino tinto que pensé me podía servir para hacer una blusa ajustada cuyo modelo la tomé de un top de mi hija pero para mí sería mas larga por supuesto, aunque lo quiero en color blanco el color vino no me desagrada. Este modelo no lleva mucha tela es muy ajustado al cuerpo y no lleva mangas así que este retazo será ideal.

Happy Needle Monday, friends of @needleworkmonday. I hope you have a great start to the week. I was tidying up my fabric stash, sorting through lots of scraps that I know I'll never use, and I found a piece of burgundy ribbing that I thought I could use to make a fitted blouse. I based the design on one of my daughter's tops, but I'll make mine longer, of course. I'd prefer it in white, but I don't dislike the burgundy color. This model doesn't require much fabric, it's very form-fitting, and it doesn't have sleeves, so this scrap will be perfect.

Corté dos piezas una delantera y una trasera además de tiras para hacer cuello y sisa de mangas.

I cut two pieces, one for the front and one for the back, as well as strips to make the neckline and armholes.

Lo primero fue unir pieza delantera y trasera por los hombros para luego hacer la sisa colocando una tira por todo el contorno y en este caso la vista la hice hacia la parte derecha de la prenda, esto lo hice en ambas mangas.

First, I joined the front and back pieces at the shoulders and then made the armholes by placing a strip around the entire contour. In this case, I made the facing on the right side of the garment, and I did this on both sleeves.

Luego cosí por los laterales o costados para luego hacer el ruedo.

Then I sewed the sides and made the hem.

Para finalizar hice el cuello de la misma manera que las sisas de manga, cosí una tira de manera circular y luego la cosí al cuello, en este caso la tira tiene los mismos centímetros que el cuello y la vista quedó hacia el derecho de la manga.

To finish, I made the neckline in the same way as the sleeve armholes. I sewed a strip in a circle and then sewed it to the neckline. In this case, the strip is the same length as the neckline, and the facing is on the right side of the sleeve.

Así terminé este rápido Top hecho con un retazo de tela Rib en color vino tinto que me gustó mucho porque es rápido de poner, nos sirve para los días de calor como los de aquí de Cumaná, para ir al centro, al mercado.

So I finished this quick top made from a scrap of burgundy rib fabric that I really liked because it's quick to put on and is perfect for hot days like we have here in Cumaná, for going downtown or to the market.

En el caso particular de esta tela RIB y en particular de este retazo tiene la particularidad de estira de manera horizontal, es decir los canales de la tela quedan horizontalmente algo que debemos considerar al momento de comprar esta tela existen dos tipos una estira vertical que es la que comúnmente se usa y esta que estira horizontal, así que dependiendo la prenda es importante fijarse en este detalle.
