Feliz y bendecido año amig@s de @needlewormonday espero hayan tenido unas excelentes navidades y felices pascuas como dicen acá en Venezuela, me alegra mucho estar de vuelta con ustedes después de muchas semanas sin contar con el tiempo para compartir y disfrutar de los bellos proyectos de aguja que tanto nos agrada compartir y ver. Aunque no he estado muy activa en la costura por cuestiones de tiempo en navidad siempre hago algo para mi hija y para mí y este año no fue la excepción, me tomé un tiempo en las noches para crear nuestros atuendos para estas lindas fiestas. Aunque para mí solo hice un enterizo que es el que hoy les quiero compartir.

El color que elegí este año fue el azul rey, me encanta el color azul y en ese tono me fascina, lo hice para mi compartir de fin de año en mi trabajo y pues no lo iba a dejar guardado en el close5t por lo que dije que sería también mi outfits para recibir el año.

Happy and blessed New Year, friends of @needlewormonday! I hope you had an excellent Christmas and Happy Holidays, as they say here in Venezuela. I’m very happy to be back with you after many weeks without having the time to share and enjoy the beautiful needle projects that we love so much to share and see. Although I haven’t been very active in sewing due to time constraints, I always make something for my daughter and myself during Christmas, and this year was no exception. I took some time at night to create our outfits for these lovely holidays. Although for myself, I only made a jumpsuit, which is what I want to share with you today.

The color I chose this year was royal blue. I love the color blue, and in this shade, I’m fascinated by it. I made it for my year-end gathering at work, and I wasn’t going to leave it in the closet, so I decided it would also be my outfit for welcoming the new year.

Para variar esta tela la tenía super guardada hace dos años, lo primero fue coser el pantalón el cual era muy sencillo ya que lo quería liso sin bolsillos, entonces luego de cortar cosí los tiros delanteros y trasero, para luego pasar costura por toda la entrepierna y luego los costados, hasta aquí nada complicado, ya tenía la mitad de la prenda.

To change things up, I had this fabric super saved away for two years. The first thing was to sew the pants, which were very simple since I wanted them plain without pockets. So after cutting, I sewed the front and back darts, then stitched along the entire inseam and then the sides. Up to here, nothing complicated, I already had half of the garment done.

Pasé luego a la parte superior la cual lleva un cruzado en la parte delantera y además con un volado que hacía el detalle resaltante de la prenda, así que lo primero fue montar el volado en la pieza que quedaría arriba para luego hacer los vivos en las sisas de las mangas además de colocar vivo sobre el volado y la pieza donde lo monté.

En la parte de la espalda pensaba colocar un cierre pero me decidí luego por un lazo en el cuello.

I then moved on to the top part, which has a crossover in the front and also a ruffle that highlighted the garment's detail. So the first thing was to attach the ruffle to the piece that would be on top, then add the piping on the armholes, as well as place piping on the ruffle and the piece where I mounted it.
For the back, I was thinking of adding a zipper, but I later decided on a tie at the neck.

Pasé luego a coser por los costados la parte superior y colocar unos tiros delgados, para luego unir con el pantalón y terminar de armar mi enterizo.

I then went on to sew the top on the sides and place some thin cuffs, and then join with the pants and finish assembling my one-piece.

Así lucí esta linda prenda en mi compartir con mis compañeros y luego en mi celebración familiar para recibir el año nuevo 2026.

This beautiful garment looked like this when I shared it with my friends and later at my family celebration to welcome the New Year 2026.

Fue una prenda muy sencilla de hacer pero con un resultado precioso, me encantó el diseño y el color, es muy cómoda y luce muy bien para lucir en reuniones que requieran una presentación formal sin caer en exceso. It was a very simple garment to make but with a beautiful result, I loved the design and the color, it is very comfortable and looks great for gatherings that require a formal presentation without overdoing it. I hope you liked it, friends, and I wish that this year brings a lot of success and nice projects to share, along with time to do them haha. Greetings and we’ll talk soon.
