Today we continue our walk through the park's forests and beyond

You might think that a walk through the park would involve only paths and nearby attractions. But Silesian Park covers an area of over 650 hectares, most of which is covered with vegetation, forests, clearings, and ponds.

Wydawałoby się, że spacer po parku, to jedynie alejki i okoliczne atrakcje. Ale Park Śląski to obszar ponad 650 hektarów, z czego większość to roślinność, lasy i polanki, stawiki.

Having lived here my whole life, there are places I haven't yet explored, as I usually follow designated paths. But sometimes it's enough to deviate slightly from the path, walk through the forest, and feel the spirit of the wilderness, where nature remains intact, with fallen trees, marshes, and temporary ponds.

Żyjąc tutaj od zawsze, są miejsca do których jeszcze nie dotarłem, bo zazwyczaj chodzę wyznaczonymi ścieżkami. Ale czasami wystarczy lekko zboczyć z drogi, pójść lasem i poczuć ducha puszczy, gdzie przyroda jest nienaruszona, leżą powalone drzewa, pojawiają się mokradła, czy tymczasowe małe stawiki.

Unfortunately, today, besides the ducks, I didn't feed any other birds. The grass at the feeding site was mown, so much so that not only the birds but also the people couldn't stand it.

Niestety dzisiaj poza kaczkami, nie nakarmiłem innych ptaszków. W miejscu karmienia, było koszenie trawy, że nie tylko ptaki tego nie mogły znieść ale również ludzie.

So I went to the pond where the ducks were feeding, and there I fed them a little, although they were not very keen on the nuts, because I was not the only one feeding them.

Dlatego udałem się nad stawik, gdzie żerują kaczki, a tam je lekko podkarmiłem, choć były średnio chętne na orzeszki, bo nie byłem jedynym karmiącym.

In the evening, a short, unregistered walk around the pond. A day spent actively and quite pleasantly.

Wieczorem natomiast krótki, nierejestrowany spacer wokół stawu. Dzień spędzony aktywnie, całkiem przyjemny.
