Resilience project EP
After two long weeks finally I have some music and art to share with you my friends.
I'm really inspired to make music these past few weeks, specially electronic music and I'm getting myself more and more into musical theory at the same time, it's so interesting to learn the science behind it, as I learn more I'm more passionate about it.
I have been playing with chords and scales lately, I found out that when composing using music theory gets faster I'm more productive. Once you pass the first learning curve, the workflow gets faster and that is really motivating for me.
The inspiration for this EP is basically the action of focusing one's awareness on the present moment, live it to the fullest, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, that's why this EP has two tracks really different, one is really soft, slow and calm and the other is the complete opposite energetic and crazy, two sides of the same coin, it represents also the duality that lives inside of us.
Después de dos largas semanas, finalmente traigo algo de música y arte para compartir con ustedes amigos míos.
Estoy realmente inspirado en hacer música estas últimas semanas, especialmente electrónica y también clásica, al mismo tiempo estoy estudiando la teoría que hay detrás de la música, la verdad es que es muy interesante aprender la ciencia que se esconde detrás de cada tema musical, a medida que aprendo más, más me apasiona ese mundo.
La inspiración para este EP es básicamente la acción de enfocar la conciencia en el momento presente, vivirlo al máximo, reconociendo y aceptando con calma los propios sentimientos, pensamientos y sensaciones corporales, por eso este EP tiene dos temas muy diferentes, uno es realmente suave, lento y tranquilo y el otro es todo lo contrario frenético, enérgico y caótico, son como las dos caras de la misma moneda, representan también la dualidad que vive dentro de nosotros.

The first track is called "Pixel Tears of Joy"
I wanted to write some classical music and ambient music for a while, and this is the first one in this style.
I'm experimenting with chords and scales, as I'm getting more and more into music theory.
I used the piano for the main melody and then I used the cello, both of the sounds are on the "FMsynth" virtual instrument on "Caustic app"
La primera pista se llama "Pixel Tears of Joy" quería escribir algo de música clásica y música ambiental desde hace tiempo, y esta pista es la primera en este estilo.
Estoy experimentando con acordes y escalas, a medida que me introduzco más y más en la teoría musical. Usé el piano para la melodía principal y luego usé el violonchelo, ambos sonidos están en el instrumento virtual "FMsynth" en la aplicación "Caustic"

Resilience
This track was produced inspired by energy, positive vibes and a lot of bass.
The beat is in 120 BPM and the time signature is 4/4.
I started the song with the Padglass sound, and then I put the Dance kit on Beatbox , then little by little the other instruments.
The baseline was really fun to play around with because the sound was so dirty and distorted that even made me dance a bit while I was producing. It turned out really catchy and I love that! :)
Esta canción fue producida inspirada en la energía, las vibraciones positivas y mucho bajo. El ritmo está en 120 BPM y el compás es 4/4.
Empecé la canción con el sonido de "Padglass" y luego puse el kit de Dance de Beatbox, luego poco a poco los demás instrumentos. Fue muy divertido jugar con la línea de bajo porque el sonido era tan sucio y distorsionado que hasta me hizo bailar un poco mientras producía :)
I used different sounds for this track including Pad Glass, Bass line, Beatbox, Subsynth, SawSynth and FmSynth.
Usé diferentes sintetizadores incluyendo Pad Glass, Bass line, Beatbox, Subsynth, SawSynth and FmSynth
Artwork/ Arte
For the artwork I used two drawings , for the background it was a portrait I made a few days ago and the other is another portrait of a person with a tie as a symbol of resilience.
I made it on "Infinite Painter" app and I used the pencil option. To make it look more futuristic like the sound of the tracks I put a synthwave style filter on the image using Wombo Artificial intelligence.
Para el arte del video y de la música, utilicé dos dibujos, para el fondo fue un retrato distorsionado que hice hace unos días y el otro es otro retrato de una persona formal con corbata como símbolo de resiliencia.
Lo hice en la aplicación "Infinite Painter" y usé la opción de lápiz. Para que se vea más futurista como el sonido de las pistas, puse un filtro al estilo "synthwave" en la imagen usando la inteligencia artificial de "Wombo".

Eugelys que bueno que lo mencionas, de hecho estoy aprendiendo teoría musical con varios libros y también sacando información de diversas fuentes para ponerlas en práctica, esto me ayudará con el tiempo a producir música de mayor calidad con mayor fluidez y sobre todo armonía, creo que ahí esta la clave de un buen track. ;)
