Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi nueva creación una hermosa Pulsera de ojo turco tejida la cual hice como obsequio para un buen amigo pies se acercaba el día de su cumpleaños asique no tenía idea de que obsequiarles entonces pensé en que darle pero recordé que a él le suele gustar bastante utilizar pulseras mayormente del tipo que tienen ojos turcos o piedras de protección como caurzo blanco.

Today I want to share with you my new creation, a beautiful woven Turkish eye bracelet which I made as a gift for a good friend. His birthday was coming up so I had no idea what to give them so I thought about what to give him but I remembered that he had He usually quite likes to use bracelets, mostly the type that have Turkish eyes or protection stones such as white caurzo.

Porque digamos es creyente tal y como yo del cosmos y astrología y al tener esa afición en común pensé que esta pulsera será el perfecto regalo ya que no sería solo algo que usaría una vez y dejaría tirado sino que se pondría a diario porque tiene su color favorito qué es el negro y el ojo turco qué es uno de sus amuletos de protección preferidos asique tuve que ponerme manos a la obra al elaborar este tejido ya que no suelo hacerlo tan seguido porque el trabajar con el hilo chino muchas veces se me vuelve complicado pese a que adoro los resultados finales y cada una de mis creaciones y esta sin duda no fue la excepción ya que me encantó como quedo al terminarla y espero ustedes la disfruten.

A continuación les mostrare los materiales que emplee y los pasos a seguir para su elaboración.

• 2 ½ metro de hilo chino negro.
• Tijeras
• Yesquero
• Adhesivo transparente
• Una regla

Paso 1

Tome el hilo chino y con la regla medí un pedazo de 40 cm cm y lo corte luego corte otros dos de 60 cm obteniendo así tres padrazos de diferente largo .

I took the Chinese thread and with the ruler I measured a piece of 40 cm cm and cut it, then cut another two of 60 cm, thus obtaining three padrazos of different lengths.

Después tome el dije de ojo turco y lo pase por el hilo de 40 cm

Then take the Turkish eye pendant and pass it through the 40 cm thread

Paso 2

Luego corte dos trozos de adhesivo transparente y con ellos fije el hilo con el dije en cada extremo.

Then cut two pieces of clear adhesive and with them fix the thread with the pendant at each end.

Para después tomar uno de los pedazo de 60 cm le hice un pequeño nudo y luego empecé el tejido sencillo creado con los dos extremos una D del lado derecho pasando el hilo de encima por la unión y llego tirando de esta forma.

To later take one of the 60 cm pieces I made a small knot, and then I started the simple weave created with the two ends in a D on the right side, passing the thread from above through the union and it came pulling like this.

Paso 3

Después repetí el mismo proceso en el lado izquierdo y así fue haciendo lo mismo hasta obtener el largo deseado en el tejido. Hice lo mismo en el otro extremo de la pulsera.

Then I repeated the same process on the left side, doing the same thing until I got the desired length in the design. I did the same on the other end of the bracelet.

Luego de hacer esto anude cada extremo al final del tejido y corte los pedazos sobrantes y queme con el yesquero.

After doing this tie each end to the end of the weave and cut off the excess pieces and burn with the tinderbox.

Paso 4

Finalmente tome los dos pedazos más largos de las pulseras los uno uno sobre de otro y con un trozo sobrante de hilo anude e hice un anillo deslizando imitando dos veces el tejido base de la pulsera.

Finally, I took the two longest pieces of the bracelets one on top of the other and with a leftover piece of thread I tied and made a sliding ring imitating twice the base fabric of the bracelet.
