Hola mis queridos amigos de Hive, hace muchísimo tiempo no pasaba por acá por muchos problemas personales como lo son la falta de tiempo e internet, pero bueno acá estoy de nuevo para compartir con ustedes la reseña de una película que marcó mi vida, aunque no es nueva, es tremenda joya cinematográfica.
Hello my dear friends of Hive, I haven't been here for a long time due to many personal problems such as lack of time and internet, but well here I am again to share with you the review of a movie that marked my life, although it is not new, it is a tremendous cinematic jewel.
¿A qué hacemos referencia al hablar de destino? ¿es acaso una sucesión de acontecimientos de los que ninguna persona puede escapar? ¿es un poder sobrenatural inevitable que guía nuestras vidas? o ¿es una fuerza desconocida que actúa sobre nosotros y los acontecimientos que a diario ocurren en nuestras vidas?
What do we mean when we speak of destiny? Is it a succession of events from which no person can escape? Is it an inevitable supernatural power that guides our lives? Or is it an unknown force that acts upon us and the events that occur in our lives on a daily basis?Una palabra con tanto significado, como lo es “destino” podría ser explicada de una forma muy amplia y extensa, o podría simplemente ser definido en una sola palabra.
A word with as much meaning as "destiny" could be explained in a very broad and extensive way, or it could simply be defined in a single word.
En cada uno de nosotros, está escrito un destino, o sea lo que está sucediendo es un guión o una película que ya fue filmada, y la estamos repasando.

La película nos cuenta la historia de un señor llamado Donovan, el cual había perdido a su hija y su esposa en un accidente de tránsito, pasaron varios años desde que ocurrió ese incidente; y actualmente se le presentan muchos “recuerdos” o “visiones”, que lo hacen sentir como si él ya hubiese estado presente en esos acontecimientos, como si el supiera lo que está por ocurrir; mi objetivo no es narrar la película con este ensayo, sino analizar lo sucedido en la trama, así que vamos a poner nuestra mente a pensar.
The movie tells the story of a man named Donovan, who had lost his daughter and his wife in a traffic accident, several years have passed since that incident occurred, and now he has many "memories" or "visions" that make him feel as if he had already been present in those events, as if he knew what is about to happen; my goal is not to narrate the film with this essay, but to analyze what happened in the plot, so let's put our mind to think.

Los recuerdos que se pasan por la mente de Donovan nos hacen pensar ¿esos sentimientos son como los llamados “Déjà vu” que nosotros sentimos? La verdad la trama de la película es un tanto difícil y confuso de entender; hay diversos puntos de vista para esto, algunas personas creen que simplemente es eso, un “Déjà vu” (trata de un suceso que sentimos que ya vivimos, pero en realidad no).
The memories that go through Donovan's mind make us think, are these feelings like the so-called "Déjà vu" that we feel? The truth is that the plot of the movie is somewhat difficult and confusing to understand; there are different points of view for this, some people believe that it is simply that, a "Déjà vu" (it is about an event that we feel we already lived, but in reality we didn't).

En la película se presentan muchos momentos que nos hacen pensar en el destino como algo que ya está dado y no puede cambiarse, algo que se deberá cumplir a como dé lugar.

And I ask myself, can destiny change? can I manipulate what will happen? or no matter what I do, does destiny already fully foresee what I will do?Esas son algunas de las dudas que surgieron en mi mente durante estaba viendo la película, intentando analizar con el mayor detalle posible cada acontecimiento; por ejemplo, el momento en que Donovan corre y se lanza sobre una niña que estaba parada un andamio para evitar que una cortadora que caía la golpeara; hasta aquí todo normal, pero lo interesante viene después, al analizar vídeos de cámaras de vídeo vigilancia instaladas en el lugar, se puede observar que nuestro personaje (Donovan) ni siquiera volvió a ver la sierra, sino que fue un impulso, como si el hubiese sabido que la sierra iba a caer, en un principio se creyó que el había hecho caer la sierra al haber movido el andamio con la mano, pero posteriormente se confirmó lo contrario.
These are some of the doubts that arose in my mind while I was watching the movie, trying to analyze in as much detail as possible each event; for example, the moment when Donovan runs and throws himself over a girl who was standing on a scaffolding to avoid being hit by a falling cutter; So far so normal, but the interesting thing comes later, when analyzing videos from video surveillance cameras installed in the place, it can be seen that our character (Donovan) did not even see the saw again, but it was an impulse, as if he had known that the saw was going to fall, at first it was believed that he had made the saw fall when he moved the scaffolding with his hand, but later it was confirmed otherwise.

La idea básica que nos ofrece esta producción a modo de reflexión, es que si la vida, si el destino nos ofrece una nueva oportunidad, tenemos la obligación de reconocer las señales. Algo que no es precisamente fácil, porque de algún modo, nos obliga a hacer un acto de lectura interna.

Si bien es verdad que es muy recomendable disponer de una mente abierta, de un modo de pensar en el que no pongamos cerrojos u obstáculos ante toda la información y estímulos que nos rodean y nos van llegando sin descanso. La cuestión se centra en que si aceptamos la existencia del destino, asumimos que parte de lo que nos sucede está marcado por los designios de quién sabe qué. Es algo que escapa por completo a nuestra comprensión y puede que incluso hasta a nuestra propia consciencia.

Hay científicos que afirman la existencia de un “destino casi obligado”, así como le sucedió a nuestro protagonista Donovan, que siempre le intentó dar un significado a las cosas que le estaban sucediendo, y que quisieron darle a entender que lo que le sucedió a su familia estaba ya previsto y era su destino vivir tan trágico momento. Para muchos, ese era su destino y por más que intentó no pudo cambiarlo, pero si podia hacer algo al respecto para evitar que en su presente sucediera algo similar a lo que ya habia vivido en su pasado, para que su nueva familia no tuviese el mismo tragico destino.

Tenemos la opción de dar lo mejor de nosotros, asi como actuó nuestro protagonista en el final de la película, que nos da a entender que sin importar cuál sea la situación y sus adversidades. Las cosas no siempre serán como esperamos y no siempre podremos cambiarlas. Pero no lograríamos nada si no tomamos la decisión de hacer algo, y esa decisión es 100% de nosotros.
We have the option to give the best of ourselves, as our protagonist did in the end of the movie, which gives us to understand that no matter what the situation and its adversities are, things will not always be as we expect and we cannot always change them. Things will not always be as we expect and we will not always be able to change them. But we would not achieve anything if we do not make the decision to do something, and that decision is 100% up to us.
De esta forma podemos entender que es cierto que nuestras vidas a veces son un caos de casualidades y hechos ilógicos, pero el llevar las riendas de nuestro propio destino, ser dueños de nuestro timón, nos va a permitir ser más responsables.
