Por favor, da algunos ejemplos | ¿When did you start to see changes in attitudes towards the women in your life, and what do you think caused those changes? Please give some examples.

Since I was a child I have always been surrounded by women, whether they are part of the family as well as friends and relatives, I always liked to share more with a group of women than with men, well, it is more comfortable for me to talk about any topic, however It is something that I began to do in my adulthood since as a child I was always very withdrawn and not very communicative, my only female figure in my daily environment was my mother, but I must say that just as many consider having the best mother of all for me I had the worst and before they judge me I will tell you the reason for thinking that.

Like any child, I was very close to my mother, I always looked for shelter, protection and support in her that I never received from her, in fact, I only received very bad treatment and not only from her but also from my father and brothers, I never understood why, being the only daughter, they behaved like that with me and the truth is that I was used to it, besides, I always saw my mother being mistreated by my father and although I knew that this was not normal or okay, it was what I saw almost daily, in my family nucleus I never felt that due importance was given to the fact of being a woman, in any case I only saw contempt and mistreatment, my mother did not value herself as a woman nor did she make me feel valued by to be too, and certainly seeing this macho behavior in my home made me see things differently, I knew it was not the right thing to do but I couldn't do anything to change it.

I always felt inferior, my opinion was never valued and I was never taken into account at all, I think it goes without saying that living and growing up in this environment made my self-esteem always drop and I didn't feel love Well, I never saw an example of it, luckily all this ended about 8 years ago when I stopped living with my parents, of course my mom didn't care but for me her opinion didn't matter anymore, I'm telling you all this because I feel that it greatly influenced my life and how I saw the treatment of women back then.

Despite all that I experienced and the treatment I received, I knew it shouldn't be like that and after leaving that place was when everything began to go well and I had a really normal life, I began to love and value myself more as I should have done before and I must say that it was a very good and positive change for me, I saw everything in a new way and I felt better, I liked it a lot.

Many times as women we do not understand the true value we have and how much we matter in society, but once we do we will feel good about ourselves, just as it happened to me, luckily when we own our own lives we can decide what we want or not and who we want and who is not in it, we should never minimize ourselves before anyone, we are just as valuable as any person and any other woman, today I realize how much it affected me to be treated as I went but despite that I was able to find my true value and feel good about myself.

This has been my way of covering this topic from my perspective based on my lived experience, I hope you liked it and can share your point of view if you haven't, let's never forget the value we have and that if we stay positive we can overcome everything that comes our way, I say goodbye inviting my friends @genesishernandez and @corimarstorys to participate, without further ado, I wish you a happy day!
