Todas las asociaciones de la Comarca invitadas al evento debían de presentar una actividad en su stand para que el público asistente formase parte de forma activa de la jornada.

Inspirándome, como era de esperar, en el scrapbooking, ideé un taller llamado "Mensaje en una Botella".

Haríamos uso de los materiales de scrapbooking que ya teníamos en la Asociación para otros talleres y recogimos cientos de botellas pequeñas en bares y restaurantes. Muchos de estos negocios se ofrecieron a guardarlas y nos la entregaron incluso lavadas (¡gracias!).

We would make use of the scrapbooking materials we already had in the Association for other workshops and collected hundreds of small bottles from bars and restaurants. Many of these businesses offered to store them and even gave them to us washed (thank you!).

La idea era que cada visitante decorase su propia botella y que escribiese su mensaje "al Mundo". "¡No tiréis la botella al mar, por favor!" decíamos en broma (haciendo hincapié en el sentido ecológico de la actividad).

El mensaje podía ser para la Vida, para ti misma, para tu madre, para tu yo del futuro,... Para quien quisieses. Muchas personas se implicaron tanto en la actividad, que se emocionaron en algunos momentos.

The message could be for Life, for yourself, for your mother, for your future self,.... For whomever you wanted. Many people were so involved in the activity that they were moved at times.

Fue un rotundo éxito, muy participativo: jóvenes, mayores, familias enteras, estudiantes, trabajadores,.... Todo el mundo tuvo unos minutos para realizar su botella.

It was a resounding success, very participative: young, old, entire families, students, workers, ..... Everyone had a few minutes to make their bottle.

Incluso querían dejarnos donaciones, por llevarse su botella decorada con tanto mensaje simbólico y tan bonitas que eran. Podríamos haber recaudado mucho ese día (jejeje).

They even wanted to leave us donations, for taking their bottle decorated with such a symbolic message and so beautiful they were. We could have raised a lot that day (hehehe).

La dinámica era sencilla: preparamos una mesa con los materiales y herramientas necesarias e invitábamos a los visitantes a participar.

The dynamic was simple: we set up a table with the necessary materials and tools and invited visitors to participate.

A veces había recelo, les daba vergüenza, pensaban algunos que les costaría dinero,... Sin embargo, en cuanto vieron de qué se trataba realmente, ellos mismos invitaban a sus acompañantes o a los transeúntes a participar.

Sometimes there was suspicion, they were embarrassed, some thought it would cost them money,.... However, as soon as they saw what it was really about, they themselves invited their companions or passers-by to take part.

Le dábamos una botella y le indicábamos cómo podrían decorarla. En la mesa había lazos y tijeras, papeles decorados, washitapes, cintas adhesivas... Con pocas indicaciones comenzaban a añadirle complementos a cada botella.

We gave them a bottle and told them how they could decorate it. On the table there were ribbons and scissors, decorated papers, washitapes, adhesive tapes.... With just a few instructions, they began to add accessories to each bottle.

Después venía lo más difícil: escribir el mensaje. Ese era el momento mágico: entraban en pánico y se quedaban en blanco, se ilusionaban y les faltaba papel (jajaja) o simplemente disfrutaban de ese instante de reflexión.

Then came the hardest part: writing the message. That was the magic moment: they panicked and went blank, they were excited and lacked paper (hahaha) or they simply enjoyed that moment of reflection.

Personalmente, un día feliz y pleno, en el que conocí a muchas personas, en el que viví momentos especiales. Me gusta tratar con la gente, hablar ella, charlar, enseñar lo que esté en mi mano. Ese día escribí muchos mensajes en mi cabeza, todos llenos de amor y agradecimiento.

Personally, a happy and fulfilling day, in which I met many people, in which I experienced special moments. I like dealing with people, talking to them, chatting, teaching them whatever I can. That day I wrote many messages in my head, all full of love and gratitude.

Ellos y ellas se llevaron su botella, y yo me llevé esta sonrisa a casa.

They took their bottle, and I took this smile home with me.
