[ESP] ¿No sabían que debo ocuparme en las cosas de mi Padre?”
[ENG] Did you not know that I must be about my Father's business?"
Además; en este hermoso episodio bíblico, encontramos un detalle importante del cual san Lucas hace mención especial:
y le dijo su madre: «Hijo, ¿por qué nos has tratado así? Tu padre y yo te buscábamos angustiados».
Él les contestó: «¿Por qué me buscabais? ¿No sabíais que yo debía estar en la cosas de mi Padre?».
Dice san Lucas que su madre, María, conservaba todo esto en su corazón. Aquí vemos el tierno Corazón de la Madre del Salvador del Mundo, el gran corazón de la elegida de Dios, el Dulce Corazón de María.
NOTA AL CIERRE DE ESTE HUMILDE COMENTARIO: San Lucas no lo menciona pero ¿Qué pensarían o qué dirían los doctores de la Ley al escuchar al niño Jesús decir: «¿Por qué me buscabais? ¿No sabíais que yo debía estar en la cosas de mi Padre?». ¿Qué piensa Usted?
Also; In this beautiful biblical episode, we find an important detail of which Saint Luke makes special mention:
and his mother said to him: «Son, why have you treated us like this? Your father and I were anxiously looking for you." He answered them: “Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I should be in the things of my Father?».
Saint Luke says that his mother, Mary, kept all this in her heart. Here we see the tender Heart of the Mother of the Savior of the World, the great heart of God's chosen one, the Sweet Heart of Mary.
NOTE AT THE CLOSURE OF THIS HUMBLE COMMENT: St. Luke does not mention it, but what would the doctors of the Law think or say when they heard the child Jesus say: «Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I should be in my Father's business?» What do you think?
Los padres de Jesús solían ir cada año a Jerusalén para las festividades de la Pascua. Cuando el niño cumplió doce años, fueron a la fiesta, según la costumbre. Pasados aquellos días, se volvieron; pero el niño Jesús se quedó en Jerusalén, sin que sus padres lo supieran. Creyendo que iba en la caravana, hicieron un día de camino; entonces lo buscaron, y al no encontrarlo, regresaron a Jerusalén en su busca.
Al tercer día lo encontramos en el templo, sentado en medio de los doctores, escuchándolos y haciéndoles preguntas. Todos los que lo oían se admiraban de su inteligencia y de sus respuestas. Al verlo, sus padres se quedaron atónitos y su madre le dijo: “Hijo mío, ¿por qué te has portado así con nosotros? Tu padre y yo te hemos estado buscando llenos de angustia”. Él les respondió: “¿Por qué me andaban buscando? ¿No sabían que debo ocuparme en las cosas de mi Padre?” Ellos no entendieron la respuesta que les dio. Entonces volvió con ellos a Nazaret y siguió sujeto a su autoridad. Su madre conservaba en su corazón todas aquellas cosas.

Jesus' parents used to go to Jerusalem every year for the Passover festivities. When the boy turned twelve, they went to the party, according to custom. Those days passed, they turned; but the child Jesus remained in Jerusalem, unknown to his parents. Believing that he was in the caravan, they traveled a day's journey; so they looked for him, and not finding him, they returned to Jerusalem to look for him.
On the third day we find him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, listening to them and asking them questions. All who heard him were amazed at his intelligence and his answers. Seeing him, his parents were stunned and his mother said to him: “My son, why have you behaved like this with us? Your father and I have been looking for you full of anguish.” He answered them: “Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be about my Father's business?" They did not understand the answer you gave them. So he returned with them to Nazareth and remained subject to their authority. His mother kept in her heart all those things.
