It has always been the same, at all times similar situations have occurred; people tend to interpret or judge according to their political, economic, cultural, religious or social interests, many do so in a biased way or for doctrinal convenience; others are bribed or intimidated to judge or do so under duress, in short, a large number of people are away from justice when interpreting, giving opinions or judging any fact. For that reason, pleasing everyone at the same time is very difficult and more when you say or do things that many do not understand or that are contrary to their convictions, it is worse, because intolerance, and in some cases, ignorance almost always prevails. Nowadays, it usually happens on social networks, such as Twitter, for example, that you say something and people interpret what you want, often far from what you really wanted to say.

In the Gospel of Matthew 11, 16-19, Jesus compares the people with the children who sit in the squares and turn to their companions to shout: ‘We played the flute and they did not dance; We sing sad songs and they have not cried." and later he says: Because Juan came, who neither ate nor drank, and they said:" He has a demon. " The Son of man comes, and they say: 'That is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of publicans and people of bad living.' which means that pleasing people is not an easy task: There is no worse deaf than he who does not want to hear and there is no worse blind than he who does not want to see and I would add that there is no worse mute than he who does not want to speak, that there is nothing worse than he who does not want to feel, taste, experience the finer things in life. If some person does not want to have the pleasant sensation of being loved by God, if he does not want to fully live that experience, other people can do nothing because that being is free to decide; the individual has what we call free will. In conclusion, everything is a question of attitude.

Gloria a ti Señor Jesús

A reading from the holy gospel according to Matthew (11,16-19):

At that time, Jesus said, “With what can I compare these people? It is similar to the children who sit in the squares and turn to their companions to shout: 'We played the flute and they haven't danced; We sing sad songs and they haven't cried. '

Because Juan came, who neither ate nor drank, and they said: "He has a demon." The Son of man comes, and they say: "That is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of publicans and people of bad living." But the wisdom of God justifies itself by its works.

Lord's word

Glory to you Lord Jesus
