[ESP] Paradoja

      El Maestro de maestros, Jesús de Nazaret, tenía una manera muy peculiar de enseñar, para ello utilizaba con frecuencia el recurso pedagógico de la parábola y la paradoja, en el evangelio de hoy se ve como maneja magistralmente un hecho que parece contrario a la lógica: quien menos dio da mas y quien mas dio da menos. Esta paradoja la enseña a sus discípulos al ver el depósito que hizo la mujer viuda en la alcancía del templo: «En verdad os digo que esa viuda pobre ha echado más que todos, porque todos esos han contribuido a los donativos con lo que les sobra, pero ella, que pasa necesidad, ha echado todo lo que tenía para vivir»
Una vez más, Jesús nos presenta una de sus paradojas evangélicas, curiosamente los que han echado más, han dado menos; y la que menos ha echado, es la que ha dado más; porque en realidad ha dado parte de sí misma, de lo que le correspondía para su propia vida.

     

[ENG] Paradoxes

      The Teacher of teachers, Jesus of Nazareth, had a very peculiar way of teaching, for this he frequently used the pedagogical resource of the parable and the paradox, in today's Gospel it is seen how he masterfully handles a fact that seems contrary to logic Who gave less gives more and who gave more gives less. This paradox is taught to his disciples when they see the deposit that the widow woman made in the temple's piggy bank: «Truly I tell you that that poor widow she has put in more than all, because all of those have contributed to the donations with what is left over, but she, who is in need, has put in everything she had to live»
Once again, Jesus presents us with one of his evangelical paradoxes, curiously those who have put in more, have given less; and the one that has put in the least is the one that has given the most; because in reality she has given part of herself, of what corresponded to her for her own life.

     

[ESP] Reflexión

      Este acontecimiento paradójico nos sirve para meditar nuestro compromiso cristiano, a veces nuestra vanidad nos hace creer que somos mas creyentes que otros, porque acudimos con frecuencia a nuestro templo a rezar o porque practicamos actos piadosos de vez en cuando, sin darnos cuenta, que mucha gente humilde actúa con mas fe, a la hora de conversar con Dios. No es la frecuencia de nuestra oración sino la efectividad de la misma. Nuestra fe verdadera es la que nos va a salvar no la apariencia, demos a Dios todo lo que tenemos, entreguemos nuestros pensamientos, palabras y obras al Padre Supremo y a su hijo Jesús, quien es nuestra verdad, justicia, luz y salvación.

     

[ENG] Reflection

      This paradoxical event helps us to meditate on our Christian commitment, sometimes our vanity makes us believe that we are more believers than others because we frequently go to our temple to pray or because we practice pious acts from time to time, without realizing it, that many people humble acts with more faith, when conversing with God. It is not the frequency of our prayer but the effectiveness of it. Our true faith is what is going to save us, not our appearance, we give God everything we have, we give our thoughts, words and works to the Supreme Father and his son Jesus, who is our truth, justice, light and salvation.

      Lectura del santo evangelio según san Lucas (21,1-4): En aquel tiempo, alzando Jesús los ojos, vio unos ricos que echaban donativos en el arca de las ofrendas; vio también una viuda pobre que echaba dos reales, y dijo: «Sabed que esa pobre viuda ha echado más que nadie, porque todos los demás han echado de lo que les sobra, pero ella, que pasa necesidad, ha echado todo lo que tenía para vivir.»
