Siento mucho respeto y admiración por la madre naturaleza, y como dije antes, un amor especial por las flores, su distintas fragancias, formas, tamaños y colores atraen mi atención.

I have a lot of respect and admiration for Mother Nature, and as I said before, a special love for flowers, their different fragrances, shapes, sizes and colors attract my attention.

Las flores silvestres, especialmente las mas pequeñas, las que crecen en la orilla del camino, son las que mas me impresionan porque se ve la mano del Creador, el gran Artista universal. Solo Dios pudo crear tan maravillosa obra de arte.

[ENG]

Wild flowers, especially the smallest ones, the ones that grow on the side of the road, are the ones that impress me the most because you can see the hand of the Creator, the great universal Artist. Only God could create such a wonderful work of art.

[ESP]

Cuando niño mi mamá me compró una lupa la cual utilizaba para ampliar la imagen de las diminutas flores, pasaba largo rato detallando cada parte de las flores y mientras mas lo hacía crecía mi admiración por tan excelsa perfección. Quienes me veían se imaginaban que de grande sería botánico o escogería alguna carrera afín como la biología, pero no fue así, yo escogí estudiar historia y mi hobby observar a la madre naturaleza (flora y fauna).

When I was a child my mother bought me a magnifying glass which I used to enlarge the image of the tiny flowers, I spent a long time detailing each part of the flowers and the more I did it my admiration for such excellent perfection grew. Those who saw me imagined that when I grow up I would be a botanist or choose a related career such as biology, but it was not so, I chose to study history and my hobby to observe Mother Nature (flora and fauna).

Las flores, las aves, los peces y las mariposas multicolores me fascinan; además, me encanta mirar los arrecifes de coral por su esplendor, también me gusta detallar algunas rocas del río.

[ENG]

Flowers, birds, fish and multicolored butterflies fascinate me; In addition, I love to look at the coral reefs for their splendor, I also like to detail some river rocks.

[ESP]

Además de las flores y de la inmensa variedad de plantas que he podido observar, las formas y colores de las hojas también llaman mi atención. Es fácil para mi concentrarme al mirar un árbol frondoso de hermoso follaje. El oxígeno purificado y el olor fresco del campo al levantar el alba, sanan mi cuerpo y mi alma y elevan mi espíritu, es por eso que respiro profundamente cuando estoy en medio del verdor del campo o la montaña para aprovechar su pureza y exquisita fragancia; además, aprovecho los primeros rayos del Sol y disfruto tocando el rocío de la mañana cuando el mundo despierta al son del trinar de las aves del cielo.

In addition to the flowers and the immense variety of plants that I have been able to observe, the shapes and colors of the leaves also attract my attention. It is easy for me to concentrate when looking at a lush tree with beautiful foliage. The purified oxygen and the fresh smell of the field at dawn, heal my body and my soul and elevate my spirit, that is why I breathe deeply when I am in the middle of the green of the field or the mountain to take advantage of its purity and exquisite fragrance; also, I take advantage of the first rays of the Sun and I enjoy touching the morning dew when the world wakes up to the sound of the chirping of the birds of the sky.

Recuerdo una canción que me enseñó mi catequista de primera comunión titulada: Que Bello Es, la letra y la música siempre me han gustado, por lo que la escucho y la canto cada vez que puedo, permítanme trascribirla para ustedes.

I remember a song that my First Communion catechist taught me entitled: Que Bello Es, I have always liked the lyrics and the music, so I listen to it and sing it whenever I can, let me transcribe it for you.

Del gran poeta español, Juan Ramón Jiménez, Premio Nobel de Literatura en 1956 por el conjunto de su obra, entre la que destaca la obra lírica en prosa Platero y yo, les traigo un hermoso poema el cual está titulado: FLORES, ESTRELLAS DEL CAMPO.

From the great Spanish poet, Juan Ramón Jiménez, Nobel Prize in Literature in 1956 for all of his work, among which the lyric work in prose Platero y yo stands out, I bring you a beautiful poem which is entitled: FLOWERS, STARS OF THE FIELD.

[ESP] FLORES, ESTRELLAS DEL CAMPO.

Malvas, rosadas, celestes,
las florecillas del campo
esmaltan la orilla azul
del arroyo solitario.

Parece como si una
niña perdida en el prado,
con sus ojos dulces las
hubiese ido regando…

Mauves, pinks, celestial,
the little flowers of the field
glaze the blue shore
of the lonely stream.

It seems as if a
girl lost in the meadow,
with her sweet eyes
I would have been watering ...

La brisa juega con ellas…
¡Oh, qué olor! Un dulce bálsamo
se derrama sobre el alma
taladrada de cuidados;
y, un instante, se la lleva
plácidamente a un remanso
donde sueña eternidades
el diamante soleado.

The breeze plays with them ...
Oh what a smell! A sweet balm
spills over the soul
drilling of care;
and, for a moment, he takes her away
placidly to a haven
where he dreams eternities
the sunny diamond.

Tiene el alma, el aire de oro,
de las estrellas del campo;
celestes, rosadas, malvas,
sus sombras pasan soñando…
