      Many of you know that at this point in my life I am having some heart problems that have put my health at risk; However, and thanks to the immediate attention of the doctors and the excellent care of my family I have been improving, today I felt very good, so I was able to go for a walk and walk with my beloved wife through some places in the East of the Capital City, specifically, we went to the Unicentro El Marqués Shopping Center.

      Muchos de ustedes saben que en este momento de mi vida estoy presentando algunos problemas cardíacos que han puesto en riesgo mi salud; sin embargo, y gracias a la inmediata atención de los médicos y a los excelentes cuidados de mi familia he venido mejorando, hoy me sentí muy bien, por lo que pude salir a caminar y a pasear con mi amada esposa por algunos lugares del Este de la Ciudad Capital, específicamente, fuimos al Centro Comercial Unicentro El Marqués.

      Today, Saturday, November 13, 2021, my beloved wife and I went for a walk through the Unicentro El Marqués Shopping Center, which is located on Francisco de Miranda Avenue, between Sanz Avenue, with Arichuna Street, El Marqués Urbanization, Northern California, Sucre Municipality, Miranda State, Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

      Hoy, sábado 13 de noviembre de 2021, mi amada esposa y yo salimos a pasear por el Centro Comercial Unicentro El Marqués, el cual está ubicado en la Avenida Francisco de Miranda, entre la Avenida Sanz, con Calle Arichuna, Urbanización El Marqués, California Norte, Municipio Sucre, Estado Miranda, República Bolivariana de Venezuela.

[ENG] Brief historical overview of the Unicentro El Marqués Shopping Center

      It was 1971 when the architect Antonio Pinzani designed the Unicentro El Marqués Shopping Center on a flat plot of 33,300 m2 on Av. Francisco de Miranda, in the entrance and exit connection of the El Marqués urbanization, in Northern California. The structure was calculated by engineer Antonio Frojo. The design criteria for this project was the one used by him in other Shopping Center projects: separation of pedestrian traffic from vehicular traffic, wide corridors for traffic, protected from sunlight by long structural overhangs. The 42,600 m2 of construction of the shopping center are developed on only two levels, in which 142 commercial premises are distributed, several with "anchor" characteristics, two cinemas and a great variety of premises of different floors and areas. The shopping center is complemented with an unroofed parking lot for 1,300 cars.       Transcurría el año 1971 cuando el Arquitecto Antonio Pinzani diseñó el Centro Comercial Unicentro El Marqués en un terreno plano de 33.300 m2 sobre la Av. Francisco de Miranda, en la conexión de entrada y salida de la urbanización El Marqués, en la California Norte. La estructura fue calculada por el Ingeniero Antonio Frojo. El criterio de diseño para este proyecto fue el utilizado por él en otros proyectos de Centros Comerciales: separación de la circulación peatonal de la vehicular, amplios corredores para la circulación, protegidos de la insolación por largos volados estructurales. Los 42.600 m2 de construcción del centro comercial se desarrollan en solo dos niveles, en los cuales se distribuyen 142 locales comerciales, varios con características de “ancla”, dos cines y una gran variedad de locales de diferentes plantas y áreas.       Antonio Pinzani Pizzarello was born in Trieste, Italy in 1927. He studied architecture at the University of Venice, Italy, in 1953; and revalidated the degree in the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the Central University of Venezuela, (UCV,) in 1963. Italian-born architect Antonio Pinzani Pizzarello died in 2009.

[ENG] Today's walk with my beloved wife

      As I mentioned, my beloved wife and I decided to go for a walk today, she invited me to walk and enjoy something different from the walls of our apartment, where most of the time, we have been confined by the Covid 19 pandemic and by my recent illness that kept me resting for more than a month. The walk was wonderful because we had time that we didn't visit that huge Mall. Today we were walking through the frescoes, illuminated and wide corridors of the place, we visited some commercial premises, we took some photographs, we enjoyed a delicious mocaccino coffee and at the end of our walk a refreshing and tasty ice cream.

[ESP] Paseo de hoy con mi amada esposa

      Como mencioné, mi amada esposa y yo decidimos salir de paseo el día de hoy, ella me invitó para que caminara y disfrutara algo distinto a las paredes de nuestro apartamento, donde la mayor parte del tiempo, hemos estado confinados por la pandemia del Covid 19 y por mi reciente enfermedad que me mantuvo de reposo por mas de un mes. El paseo fue maravilloso porque teníamos tiempo que no visitábamos ese enorme Centro Comercial. Hoy estuvimos caminando por los frescos, iluminados y amplios pasillos del lugar, visitamos algunos locales comerciales, tomamos algunas fotografías, disfrutamos un delicioso café mocaccino y al final de nuestro paseo un refrescante y sabroso helado.

      The Unicentro El Marqués Shopping Center is a strong brutalist structure, with wide ventilated corridors and plenty of natural light, very comfortable for walking, ideal to visit alone, as a couple or with the family, it has large parking lots, some are outdoors and others roofed. This Shopping Center has undergone some modifications throughout its history that have contributed to its expansion, in addition, it is totally closed, 360 ° of bars and with private security posts, which makes it a very safe place. It has a huge supermarket, banks, restaurants and food fairs, public baths, pharmacies, bakeries, shops for women, men and children, some places where technology businesses, cinemas, sports shops ... among others. In addition, it has a large square and comfortable seats to spend a comfortable time. In the Unicentro El Marqués Shopping Center you find everything.       El Centro Comercial Unicentro El Marqués es una fuerte estructura brutalista, con amplios pasillos ventilados y con mucha luz natural, muy cómodo para caminar, ideal para visitarlo solo, en pareja o con la familia, posee grandes estacionamientos, algunos están al aire libre y otros techados. Este Centro Comercial ha sufridos algunas modificaciones a lo largo de su historia que han contribuído con su ampliación, además, está totalmente cerrado, 360° de rejas y con puestos de vigilancia privada, lo que lo hace un lugar muy seguro. Tiene un enorme supermercado, entidades bancarias, restaurantes y ferias de comidas, baños públicos, farmacias, panaderías, tiendas para damas, caballeros y niños, algunos locales donde funcionan negocios de tecnología, cines, tiendas deportivas... entre otros. Además, tiene una plaza amplia y cómodos asientos para pasar un rato confortable. En el Centro Comercial Unicentro El Marqués usted encuentra de todo. Gracias por llegar hasta aquí, mi amada esposa y yo le damos un fuerte abrazo espiritual cargado de bendiciones, energía positiva y mucha luz.
